That's cool, but we're talking about the modern era.

That's cool but this is the modern era.  You just THINK that 18 years is a long time because it's longer than you've been alive. As you get older it seems less. :)

For every election that they've won, and they've won MANY, with the exception of one they've won the popular vote and the dems are the ones who gerrymander the worst.

So - lie on your part. Like i said - when you grow up it won't seem like such a long time that you can't get your head around it like now.

Everyone has bigotries. Even you. The question is not if one has any bigotries, but how one manages their bigotries.

I don't need your approval Barb. Nor do truth and reason.

How about you just put your bigotry aside and allow people to live and let live?

Homosexuals have the same rights as you.

That is the truth.

The evidence was that the number of Republicans grew in 2021. We're currently in the year 2023. Because the Republicans overturned Roe v Wade, and because they can't shut up about trans people, they're quickly losing support. That's why they got owned in the midterms. You can cry about it, but that doesn't change reality.

I'm not crying. You will be though.

I have a gay son and sister. Got no issues with them.

They don't LARP as the opposite sex.

Why should you care?

It's just your pathetic brand of bigotry that stands in the way of trans folk being accepted.

You don't do that yourself with your own bigotries. How can you expect others to.

What rights do you have that trans people don't have?

None.

Have you told them to their face that you think they're abnormal?

Not my sister. But the boy and I had a real heart to heart and yes, we acknowledged this.

He's my son so...very rational.

You can't force people to "accept" things they can't.

Trannies cross that line with me. Sorry.

I feel bad for them. I'm sure he knew you were bigoted before, but what did he say when you told him that you think he's abnormal?

I've constantly, over the years, had to reevaluate my persona and how it affects those who i love. It's not easy to change for the better. But I'm a living breathing example of how it's possible.

I think we all need to be able to compromise and be more accepting. It's all that allows us to hold a lasting bond.

I don't think you're a bad person.

We both are products of our environment.

But change is possible if we allow ourselves to acknowledge our issues.

I hope your gay family members forgive you.

You're currently a hate filled bigot who's as dishonest as the day is long.  If this is the 'better' you, what kind of psycho were you before'? like -there aren't any 'freshly disturbed earth' piles anywhere you'd like to tell us about is there?

Have you ever wondered why trans folk bother you so much? I mean logically, really sat down and asked yourself why you have such an irrational disapproval of them?

Its not irrational at all. Men who feel the need to dress and act like women are not my cup o' tea. I feel sorry for them.

Do you have a viable reason? Can you explain why?
