He was originally projected to be released from prison in July of this year, but federal records indicate he is currently at a “residential reentry management” facility with a release date of May 25. Federal prisoners can earn reductions to their sentences while incarcerated by demonstrating good behaviour.

 

 

He played by the rules and got his sentence reduced. He would have been eligible for release in 2 more months anyway.

It's actually a really big deal that the Dems, their DOJ and the FBI are committing crimes, lying, putting on political show trials, and withholding exculpatory evidence. 

Here's the thing: a lot of people in the US in 2023 and people in Germany in 1935 felt like the Republicans/Jews needed to be taken down, and crimes by the police, DOJ and Nazi Party/Dems were no big deal. They just knew the guilt was there, even if the accused weren't really guilty of the specific things that they were being accused of. 

You know what's even crazier? Hillary actually did commit very real crimes that people go to jail for. She destroyed subpoenaed evidence for starters. Can you and I do that now? Is the whole subpoena thing over now?

Do you care that Hillary committed crimes and didn't even go to trial? She just told the FBI "I don't remember, I hit my head" over and over. Then she went out at night and held hour+ rallies with her addled brain.  

She did the exact same thing in the Whitewater investigation. That's twice in her lifetime now that she's had temporary amnesia, both times on the day that she was being interrogated by the FBI.

Can you and I get selective amnesia on interrogation day and then the police will just leave us alone? Case closed?

Here’s my “Whatabout”: What about the time the Republicans took an investigation into a failed Savings & Loan and turned it into an investigation of the President’s sex life? The GOP started all this. That’s why Obama kept his Administration as squeaky-clean as possible.  
 

And the big Obama crime? Contempt of Congress.  Ooooh!! What a big crime! Then Trump shows up and orders his entire administration to ignore Congressional subpoenas and… you’re silent! Exact same act.

 

Trump committed these crimes. Plain and simple.  That’s why his lawyer already went to jail.

I don’t agree that any of those things are relevant. Clinton had moral failings. Trump’s were and are orders of magnitude larger.

My point is that a savings and loan investigation devolved into investigating Paula Jones, using Federal dollars to help her with a civil lawsuit costing hundreds of thousands, devolving into one deposition after another, for years. 

So now the GOP cries boo-hoo.  But they are the ones who started it. Hell, Trump personally flew lawyers to Hawaii to inspect Obama’s birth certificate, which they had no legal authority or expertise to inspect. Now he cries boo-hoo over legal investigations? Too late, baby.

I have to agree. 
Once the Watergate investigations began, Nixon fired one Justice department official after another, in an effort to get one who would stop the investigations into his crimes by firing Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox. It finally stopped when he appointed Bork, who fired Cox immediately, in an effort to stop and cover up the Watergate crimes.  
 

It was utterly shocking that Reagan tried to appoint this Watergate criminal to the SCOTUS.
