Funding out the truth and asking about it is what newspapers should be doing. It’s a highly reputable function. These days, many towns don’t have local newspapers any more, to the relief of all the mini-John Torys out there.

200 media outlets have signed on the SDGs. Part of that is harassing politicians who don't toe the line

Premier Ford is advising him not to resign.  Said if he resigns, a leftist could become mayor and go on a real spending spree, causing higher taxes and financial trouble.

Unfortunately Tory is already pretty left of centre.  He’s another politician who won’t say no unless it’s uncontroversial.
