such a typical response

this is what you do

everytime someone makes a good argument

and you have no good rebuttal

yet you talk trash about other people's arguments sucking

when all you got is "lol, I disagree"

then when asked why you disagree

you just ad hominem or strawman, if you even answer

Yes the Hungarians paid an awful price.

That was then...this is now. And now...the Russians dont seem interested in anything but Donbas.

That was then and this is now. So what? Russia hasn't changed. It is run by an ex KGB colonel so mentality running it hasn't changed either.

No they haven't. they have occupied all the area north and east of Crimea to link Donbas with Crimea and cut Ukraine off from the Aral  Sea. They have also occupied territory west of Crimea and attacked Odessa to cut Ukraine access to the Black Sea.

A "good" argument is supported by actual reality. It is not a reality that Russia is even planning to invade any NATO nation. All we have is some opinions and statements from Russia that they will defend their borders.

Try reality...its "good" for you.

So they have the "Russian" part of Ukraine, and have responded to the Ukrainians sinking one of their boats. I understand now Ukraine have mined the bay at Odessa and have no idea where the mines are. Good work actor and neo-Nazis! Now you can't get your own exports out.

What a comical shit-show...

Show me where Putin even suggested he would invade/attck any NATO nation, except in self defence?

Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons because of the Budapest agreement in which the US, Britain and Russia guaranteed Ukraine security.

Putin also said all countries should respect Ukrainian sovereignty. As long as he gets to determine what that so called sovereignty is.

NATO is a defensive alliance. Show me where even one NATO country has suggested it should invade Russia. Countries join NATO because they see Russia as a threat. If Sweden and Finland joining doesn't drive that home, nothing ever will.

They will defend their borders. Sure they will, The question is, when will they stop expanding those borders? That's why the rush to join NATO.

So neither NATO nor Russia have threatened to attack each other. Marvie! That's as it should be...for now.

The very first part of your article...from 2015...

Quote

The sovereignty of all states, including Ukraine, should be respected, Russian President Vladimir Putin told CBS’s ‘60 Minutes,’ stressing that he knows “for sure” that the US was involved in the ouster of President Yanukovich in 2014.

Hmmm...USA been fucking with other nations' elections again, have they?

Have they? If you read RT I guess. Putin needed an excuse to invade.

Eastern Europeans lived under the Soviet heel for 50 years. Most of these countries had been divided up between various European powers over the centuries. They have much better idea of what threatens them than some knob in Canada who has never been threatened by anyone.

So because America once attacked Canada...we should expect them to attack us again?

Try living in this century.

the calculation has changed for America

the calculation hasn't changed in Russia

Russia in this century isn't much different from Russia last century

the Romanov's did it, the Bolsheviks did it, and Putin is doing it

you don't know the Russians

all you know is wishful thinking

it's pretty simple

Wishful thinking...hmmm...

Well...if you call serving at the Prague Embassy for several years, knowing quite a number of Russians in Prague, and having a Czech wife who watches news from there as well as speaking with her family daily...wishful thinking...

then you have even less excuse

because Russians outside of Russia don't side with Russia, especially in Ukraine

they are also well aware of Russia's insecurity driving their aggression

guess you only talked to unobservant Russians

or ones who also engage in wishful thinking about Russia

or ones who were gaslighting you

Gawd who tells you this horseshit?

Russians...regardless of where they live...are proudly and fiercely Russian.

Ever ask why both Crimea and Donbas voted to become independent from Ukraine?

Lord t'underin' boy...

Russians outside Russia hate the Russian government

they aren't Putin fanboys

only those drowning in Russian propaganda in a country with no free speech who never hear alternative opinions

buy the nonsense you're selling

they might be proud to be Russian, but they aren't proud of the tyranny

the Czechs don't like the Russians either

that Embassy must have been some weird bubble

because apparently you only encountered Europeans oblivious about Russia and it's history

You make so many assumptions...and you're batting zero with them

Americans outside America hate Biden. So what? Wanna start a brawl? Walk into a bar, find some Yankees, and tell them America sucks.

Yes...Czechs hold no love for Russia. And even they aren't as silly as you.

It's an "Embassy"...or it was then. Now it's just an office for passports. Embassies tend to deal with people we call..."diplomats". Almost all nations have them. Do you know what their job is?
