Joe Biden doesn't believe the Midterm elections will be legitimate

Joe Biden recently said he doesn't believe the voting system in the US worked, and the reforms he failed to to pass in Congress would have fixed the problem of illegitimate elections.

Let me quote Biden when asked if fhe elections this year would be legitimate:

“I’m not saying it’s going to be legit, as the increase in the prospect of being illegitimate is a direct proportion to us not being able to get these reforms passed,” Biden responded. Because the reforms didn’t pass, by implication the midterm elections later this year may indeed be illegitimate.

The White House tried to clean up the president’s comments on the legitimacy of our elections. Press Secretary Jen Psaki tweeted out a statement saying “@potus was not casting doubt on the legitimacy of the 2022 election.” But the harm was done."

Why does 2022 smell like fraud to him, but not 2020?

Maybe he feels like there will be more scrutiny now than there was in 2020.

Also, Dems only believe in elections that they win. They contest everything else.

Just remember that before the 2020 election even happened, Hillary was recommending that Joe shouldn't concede the election if he loses. What a difference a day makes.

That's actually the reason why he's declaring the mid-terms illegitimate in advance. He knows that it's basically a reflection of his own popularity - which is sub-40%.

What is adding go the oddness of the thing is the fact he has been a career politician - a successful one at that at winning  - and then suddenly after more than 50 years of working as a politician, he finds the voting system not working as intended. A year and a half ago, he was elected as President and he advocated for the legitimacy of the result.

He's been a successful background guy, a little Scranton kid who no one expects much from, but he's never been a go-to guy before. Even as VPOTUS he wasn't the Robin to Obama's Batman, he was more like the invisible man who just chimed in a few times to be wrong.

Biden truly sucks in every way imaginable dude. He's stupid, he's slow, he can only do short hours, his memory is shot, his dementia makes him prone to inappropriate outbursts of anger, and he's got no idea how a democracy is supposed to function. Defending him is just nasty and gross.
