It's not fear, Mowich.  It's being non-complacent.

A smug confidence that "this will not happen to me," has been proven wrong so many times.  I bet, that's how a lot of countries had gone under socialist/communist regimes.

The US is a very long way from becoming a socialist/communist country, Betsy.  The very fact that the current President got the second highest popular vote in the country's history should at least give you some comfort. What will be interesting to see is what happens in the mid-terms elections that have often seen the flipping of seats.

He is outnumbered heavily in Hollywood but not outmatched.

In this election so far, the Dems lost big,  losing many Congress seats, and they failed to take the Senate.  They spent over 300 million fighting MM alone and got their asses handed to them.

The only saving grace for the Dems was unofficially winning the Presidency.  It would be a shame if that got taken from them...by none other than Amy, Brett and especially Clarence!  But those are just my personal feelings on that one.

Biden has been a big winner financially during his time in politics and he and his family are sure to make out like bandits when/if he takes office. But he might have the dubious distinction of being the first President to be removed because of his diminishing cognitive ability. He didn't accomplish much in almost fifty years in politics but he'll be remembered for being pushed out.
