Rights are only articulated by the constitution, so you don't have that right under those circumstances.

Rights come from one place... the only moral authority, I choose to respect.

When the hospitals are overrun... Don't force people out of their homes... If they want to die in their own home let them... If you have some pain kills available... leave them at the doorstep. The home is the persons dignity.

They will for the most part impose that, people will be allowed to die in their homes, but if a medical officer orders you removed with cause, the police will move you.

That's not the definition of rights, liberty is freedom granted by an external authority.

The Emergency Measures Act has not yet been invoked, I said if the situation here becomes like it is in Italy, by then it will have been invoked

It may indeed be invoked before that, but it hasn't been yet, although they've said they will invoke it if they feel the need

Bear in mind also, the politicians don't actually run the country, the bureaucracy runs the country, so this is being run by the professionals

Basically the professionals brief the politicians and give them a range of options to pick from

That's a big relief, since that vast majority of politicians are a bunch of incompetent idiots.

As are the vast majority of bureaucrats. Straight out the frying pan and into the fire, your relief and faith in bureaucracy is misguided.

Never tell a bureaucrat, that they're a bureaucrat... I've made that mistake before. They seem to get offended.

There is no orders restricting your movement right now, you're not even legally bound to "social distance" at this point it is merely a request

I've been out and about picking things up here and there, got my winter tires changed, but people are scared, so if you act foolish they will probably call the cops

Indeed, but there is a State of Emergency in Ontario which doesn't restrict your movement right now but it does give the police emergency powers

So if you give them any guff at all right now they will just throw you in detention and could hold you until the State of Emergency is lifted

I don't have alot of savings... so I won't lose my mind, like some of the boomers will, when they loose everything... I just don't like civil unrest or starving people resorting to cannibalism.

There could be some civil unrest in a depression but in Canada it will be put down by force as necessary, counterrevolutionary Canadian culture is destiny

I'm not just talking riots and protesting, but gangs breaking into houses, chasing people off the road, and robbing them. When people are unemployed... they get very bitter and angry. You don't wanna be caught in the middle. Stay out of the way.

Frank Vaughan has been warning us for 2 months... When the panic bullets start flying above your head, stay out of the way.

Good thing we still have our Military Style Assault Weapons,  I like to see the look on the gang members faces when 7.62 x 51 mm NATO starts coming back there way

That would require you taking the Firearms Handling & Safety Course for Restricted Class PAL, but all that is shut down right now in the emergency.

The guns stores are all closed right now anyways, so there's nowhere to buy a gun even if you had the PAL

I told my parents in 2017, 2018, 2019... the markets gonna crash.... sell your house... stop procrastinating... do it now... Got to the cottage, and buy property at the bottom of the market... Couldn't get through to them... Their house was worth a million.
