Oh indeed, they don't realize rehashing is accelerationist, hence why they are dumb enough to do it again.

All the politicians are being reckless about national unity now, because to this generation it's just a meme.  Everything is a meme, they don't really think it could blow up in their faces.

I'd say the same about america but then no one would believe that either ^_^

Canada will be here long after we are mere dust in a pine box.

Wishful thinking is a helluva drug. I'm only 31, I'm gonna live to see it in all likelihood, God willing.

Not the case at all.

Americans are constantly predicting a civil war, America forever lives in the shadow of the Civil War, so the assumption in America is that it's just a matter of time before there's another one.

And because they are so on guard for it, and aren't sleeping on the possibility, it's a lot less likely to result in the End of America. One of the only positive side effects of American SIFCLF Paranoia, aside from the lulz of course.

Exactly, the paranoia about Civil War prevents the conditions required to have another one.

Back in 1861 they had no idea what they were inciting, and they didn't find out until they got to Shiloh Church, the point of no return.

The Millerites Strike Again, constantly crowing about the Doomsday which is right around the corner. They didn't prevent the first Civil War, but they won't make that mistake again. SIFCLF's FTW, lulz.

This is why Peace, Order and "Good Governance" leads to stagnation and collapse, while Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness leads to dynamism and a more perfect union.

Exactly.   And this is what dooms the Chinese Communists as well.   They seek harmony, but harmony is actually a slow death.

This is ultimately why Canada is an isolationist do nothing country which clings to fortress America like a parasite.

Canadians have never fought wars for Canada, nor have they fought a civil war, so there is no force in Canada to give it meaning.

Hence why it has simply reduced itself to a national helicopter mommy and the only argument is how much allowance the infantilized Canadians will grant themselves.

The trajectory of America has been plotted by four violent revolutionary wars.

Three fought on American soil, War of Independence,  Civil War, and Prohibition.

One fought on foreign ground inciting revolution at home; Vietnam

Interesting discussion, but you guys should probably start a new topic, this hardly has anything to do with election night.

A Confederation of the now defunct British Empire which was sold off to the American Empire of Liberty when the British impaled themselves on the Somme.

Hence why it never progresses beyond the mindset of a dependent colony, because that is all it has ever been and all that it can conceive of.

Funniest couple of minutes of election night coverage, start from 5:47:30, Adler blubbering on national TV about the Cuckservatives being "racist", followed by Jagmeet dancing around acting like he just won in a landslide.

Prime example of Canada being the silliest country on Earth.

Lulz.  The Kneedippers are Canada Concentrate, the NDP are the soul of Canada, the pantomime of self delusion on steroids.

It has everything to do with it,  Canada not having fought any formation wars, is why Canada is the way it is and why it will never be more than it is,  and why it fears America, which is the driving force of Canadian entrenched mediocrity
