Well Durant wasn't going to play for them next year even if he re-signed, so the chances of repeat for the Raptors remained unchanged regardless of who KD signed with. The media defending this Duchene signing is insane, they will not drop their love of Dave Poile no matter how dumb of a move he makes. Net cap savings this year $2.3 million. The real cost of getting rid of both the Marleau and Zaitsev bad contracts, turns out to be swapping a late first round pick for an early third, well played Dubstep.
