Well yes but, by official design? Where's the evidence of that?

Yes...by official design.   Permanent residency does not come out of a cereal package.

The issue I am asserting is not even the black market, I don't think the Canadian nanny state model is going to make profits, because the nanny aspect is so draconian, that enforcement will cost more than net revenues, so it will be a net net loss for the taxpayer, and there will still be a black market, and the Americans will eventually have many states in the market, and they will eat Canada's marijuana lunch and corner the market as the Americans do every single time.

Canada almost always punches above its weight in these sectors.  Just look at pot market capitalizations and where the businesses are.  Law enforcement is always expensive everywhere.  When it isn’t you get police bribery and corruption. When you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

Never mind that tiny Hong Kong and Singapore are exponentially below Canada's weight class, and they both punch way harder than Canada.  Singapore could actually defeat Canada head to head in a conventional war.

Should be evidence of the design and who designed it. Where is that btw?

I don't find that Canada punches above its weight class anymore, Canada's weight class is Australia, and Australia punches way harder now.

In xenophobia yes.  You just like the Aussies because they’re harder on immigrants and more right wing right now.

Then move to Singapore.  You could rent a room in a rooming house for the price of a condo and spend your days driving in circles around the congested island.  Apples and oranges.

Don't need to...proof is walking the streets in Canada.

Proof of an accident is all anyone has seen or been presented with here.

No, they have PR, so the government is changing all the time, but first and foremost, despite being considerably smaller than Canada they are considerably richer, Australia $53,000 US dollars per capita GDP,  Canada only $45,000 US dollars per capita GDP.   They also have the better and in fact best healthcare model, which is the Swiss model of public healthcare funded by private healthcare.  They also have the better military by far now.   They also have a consistently lower unemployment rate.

I'm not actually anti-immigrant, I favour Milton Friedman's Hong Kong model, which is libertarian about immigrants, but also about everything else, so it can afford the immigrants, because of its relentlessly hot economy.

Or just call it an opinion and sod the research and links.  That's what I do.

This thread will get shut down before that's ever enforced.

Again move to Hong Kong.  It’s a quality of life issue.  Canada’s GDP per person is $49000.  Also compare the cost of living in Australia.  Import costs are outrageously high.  The Aussies are less tolerant, though we all love Australia.  Throw another shrimp on...It’s quite similar to Canada actually.  Just far.

It has happened before...another "accident" ?

FBI was not worried about the two accused men  Chiheb Esseghaier, 30, of Montreal, and Raed Jaser, 35, from Toronto.

The FBI had asked Canadian authorities multiple times over recent months to hold off on the arrests while it continued to probe who else might be involved. The RCMP had earlier met the requests but then moved ahead with the arrests on Monday.

I don't have to move, my people were here before Canadian Confederation, and I don't have any particular quarrel with the structure of governance of Upper Canada, the federal government is shambolic disaster, but the Ontario government is actually delivering the services I require, and I am close to the USA whenever I want to visit my cousins down South, for business or pleasure.

The FBI is a foreign law enforcement and investigative agency, and does not determine Canadian residency or citizenship policies.

You keep saying that, but its not the case, observe; $1.653 Trillion GDP divided by 36 million people, equals a per capita GDP of $45,916 US dollars

So be grateful.  It could be so much worse.  Enjoy the advantages of both countries.  What’s funny about most of these posts is that the fault lines are far more about left versus right than anything else.  FBI and RCMP are always working together, just like the military.  It’s mostly the same shit.

You have to get into purchasing power and other things.  It’s more complex than a simple division.
