I'm not worried, the institutions won't hold up, the Canada Confederation nanny socialist welfare gulag  is entering its death throes, but it won't be Mad Max world in the wake of it, it will still be Commonwealth countries under the British Crown in North America except for the Republic du Quebec.

The Empire of Liberty has no king but the Creator who endowed us with our associated  deist rights enshrined in the founding document of the light of civilization as we know it.

The CinC is just the guy we pay to fight wars for us, and keep the congress and their loonie nonsense in check.

And he, in turns, pays foreign agents to pee on him in return for state secrets.... Good luck, now.

So long as he fights wars for us, and keeps the loonie congress in check, I for one don't care what he does on his own time, I'm quite libertarian to the social side of things, and in fact, I am even willing to use the Kremlin to out the Democrat Party Plantation Aristocracy, no different than when we worked with Stalin as an ally of convenience against national socialism.

National socialism, international socialism, same collectivist totalitarian enemy, in two wings, coming at us from both flanks, ergo; war measures as necessary, just win baby.

Well, Canada's head of state is a foreign agent by definition....lives across the pond with corgis.

Who is actually German by way of Belgium.   But that's okay, because our nation is not a race our nation is not a place, our nation is an idea, Her Majesty simply defends the right.

Normally that's quite a ridiculous thing to consider, but these days.... :D

Easily solved;  Devolution by peaceful democratic means under the Clarity Act and a republic if you can keep it, in whichever Dominions you can sell it to.

House of Windsor and Empire of Liberty carries on regardless.
