   1.  Ahhhh.... well... ok.  We're left with the 'dealmaker' who can't make a real deal then.

   3.  So a good deal for America and Canada will go away.

4-end.  Well, you have given me something to think about there.

1.  Agreed....Trump hasn't made a deal...with Republicans...exposing their intransigence.   Congress polls much lower than Trump.

3.  Don't forget Mexico....which is the real driver for Trump (trade imbalance, jobs).   NAFTA was attacked in Canada from the git 'go:

1. You are right there, Trump has made no deals. No repeal and replace,  travel ban unconstitutional for the third time, no wall, still under investigation for various impeachable offences, but still pissing away your tax dollars flying around in AF1 to play golf on the weekends. You must be proud!

The f*cking moron and his supporters don't care....Trump still matters more on a bad day than anything Canada's dear leader Justin Trudeau can influence on a good day.   Sorry, but 'Murica GREATLY matters more, and that was true long before Trump became president.

That's why you pay so much more attention to the U.S.

You sound like a child. Not much different than the man baby who somehow became the president of United States of America. This is not about a popularity contest or TV ratings to me. You go on high fiving your 'Merican friends about being popular because of all the wrong reasons.

The United States is on a downward spiral. It has been for decades. Trump has continued many of the policies of the Clintons, Bush's and Obama. Many of those policies are the cause that the United States is starting to become a banana republic. To add to that, Trump is a f*cking moron, who can't even run the White House, let alone a country. He is a mentally immature, culturally deficient man baby who was born into money. His father gave him the platform and the knowledge in how to work the system to maintain his wealth (sort of - if you don't count all of the failed businesses). He has no clue how to lead and run anything. All he has going for him is a small, loud, obnoxious, semi-educated fan base, who are like Trump, but without the money.

When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always. Gandhi

Compared to what ?   The U.S. doesn't exist in a vacuum.

Canada already experienced the decline of empire....has it been such a terrible thing ?   Is Canada worse for that ?

Trump is just another "F*ucking moron" world leader who happens to have your attention from an already fallen empire.

So you actually agree with Trump that the U.S. must cast off such burdens and expectations.

P.S.  Your personal insults are refuge for a lost argument.

Trump is not casting anything off. He has doubled down on 'defense' spending. He has doubled down on the relationships with shitty foreign countries, mostly for his own personal gain (Trump buildings in Saudi? Investment into his hotel by Saudis? DELICIOUS!)

I don't care to be part of any empire. It doesn't give me any pleasure to think that way.

PS - The insults are something I cannot avoid, since this thread is asking if Trump is the worst president ever.

So you admit that Trump is doing the same as those who have gone before him....this is not news or unexpected.  So are they all "f*cking morons" as well ?

Trump is a threat to the "post WW2 order" that other nations have depended on, but few were willing to pay for.

If you are a Canadian citizen, then you are part of a fallen empire and all the sins that continue to this day.

Insulting me does not further your argument.

I guess that is the price one must pay when one speaks political incorrectness. I know all about that alright. Trump gets mocked virtually everyday because he pisses off the liberal dumbocrat ilk that you enjoy supporting. You are a loser big O, you just have not figured that one out yet. Don't fret though, I will keep trying to show you the error of your ways. Your welcome in advance. :D

Agreed...but it's a price that Trump is willing to pay...in spades.

Trump supporters love the way he breaks and defies all previous norms.

He dares say what others cannot say without being attacked with pitchforks by SJW snowflakes.

Trump is rude and crude, but very refreshing....and he matters much more than "feminist" Justin Trudeau.

Maybe Bush or Reagan were morons. But Trump, he is a belligerent f*cking moron.

As stated before, I don't disagree that the past presidents continued the same system. Trump, however, he has accelerated the process. I have tried finding one good thing he has done for his country or in the world, but all I see is chaos and incompetency.

Can you find one thing that Trump has done or even accomplished? How many promises did he make? What has he achieved? This is what happens when you elect a mail-order steak salesman as your president.

That's the problem with you Trump supporters. You are in denial. You want to believe that Trump is some rebel who is fighting against the system. Just because he is immature, loud, disrespectful, it doesn't mean that he is a rebel. Have you actually looked at his actions and track record so far?

Didn't he say that he was against military adventures around the world? Why have military operations increased under his watch? Did he not put down the Saudis during the election campaign and then, suddenly, they're his best buds.

Being a Canadian citizen is a privilege. This privilege does not blind me to what Canada has done in the past and continues to do today. I am happy that we're, at least, going towards the right direction in responding to our sins and I continue to fight to make Canada live up to the standards that it wants to represent itself as.

Ah you missed the point again. It's international tourists that have favored Canada in lieu of the US. But again, please pass our thanks on to the Donald.

It's more like international criminal illegals that are flying to America and then head right away for Canada, thanks to a-hole trudeau. So far 2,000 criminal illegals have entered Canada, and 66% of them have been allowed to stay. Wake up, snowflake. It's time to worry more about what is happening in Canada than America for a change. Some Canadian you are.

You watch too much CNN, MSNBC and CBC. Everything you seem to feel that you know about Trump that is suppose to be all bad is because of what the lying fake and phony left wing liberal media has been dumping in your head. You sure know how to absorb their daily bull chit alright. So sad for you.

You're not getting it, and never have, because you are still stuck in the typical cross border sycophant rut with old expectations of U.S. politics, U.S. media, and U.S. elections.

The only Americans you choose to admire and parrot back are the ones who convinced you that Trump could never win the election.

Maybe start understanding more/different Americans if that's something you must gaze at each day from Canada.

Omni would be lost if it were not for Trump who gives him something to bitch about. Gee, he may then have to start to worry more about what is going on in Canada for a change. Joke. He does not care about Canada period. He just wants to see the same mess that is going on in Canada to continue on in America. He truly is an exercise in futility alright.

Obama and Hillary were just as much involved in shitty countries also, and no doubt for some gain for themselves also.

So, what's your point?

I'm glad Hillary Clinton didn't win. She was going to continue the same broken system. Another corrupt politician who got to where she is because she played the system. A system that no longer represents the people, but the special interest groups who have the financial means to bring someone to the top... or at least to second place.

This is of course not to say that Trump is not corrupt or better. Of course not. Trump is a f*cking moron, no doubt, but at least he is highlighting America's shortcoming. Most Americans are now able to see their country the way most of the world has been seeing it.

I believe America needs to hit rock bottom before it can be great. Trump has accelerated the descent and the inevitable.

But I do ask myself: Will America survive Trump? Is Trump an accident or is he the very quintessence of America thinly disguised for the longest time and now all in the open for the whole world to see?

trump-throws-toilet-paper.jpg

At least we see Trump giving away needy supplies to the people who need it where Hillary would be keeping all those rolls for herself. Just saying.

Just wondering what channel you watch for news that keeps you so poorly informed? I could offer up a guess or two, but I'll let you fess up.

So why does he come into office threatening to kick out all the Muslims in the US, and then turn around and sell the Muslim terrorists that flew into the WTC buildings a few billion bucks worth of war material?

I have already listed them several times...

1. TPP trade deal....U.S. is out

2.  Supreme Court Justice...Gorsuch is in

3.  Illegal immigrants..running for Canada instead

4.  Keystone XL pipeline....approved

5.  NAFTA - negotiations in progress

6.  NATO deadbeats...spending more now

For the same reason Trudeau and Canada does....jobs and votes.

Canada has sent several terrorists to attack the U.S., so should all ties be severed ?

Trudeau complied with a deal that had been made by the previous conservative idiot PM to sell a few APC's. Trump's deal will arm your buddies with enough fire power to cause even further disruption in the ME. I hope they don't fly any of those fighter planes into your little apartment building.

Meh...Saudis or Canadians...both mean more terrorists for the U.S. to deal with.   Should the U.S. close the border ?

Trudeau can't hide behind Harper,  and has been called out for his obvious hypocrisy.

Wow, you are known for ducking and dodging but you out did yourself there. Trump seems to be all for closing the border. I might get into the hotel business or whatever to take advantage of that advancing tourism we are and will continue to enjoy.

Go right ahead....Trump should close the border to stop illegals and terrorists...from Canada if he wants to.
