If I had a deeper reaction to it beyond abject boredom then I might agree.  Exhorting people to hate/dismiss people because of the religion of their birth over and over again seems to be a popular dance though.  I don't get it.

There are lots of groups who have bad things in their holy books.  There are lots of groups who have done things in the past, groups that don't explicitly have hateful purposes.  You pick one group that you are predisposed to dislike and make them into evil.  Hate bating.
