How to Report a specific Post/Thread to Moderators

I would like to report to moderators a specific post. What do I do?

I created a new thread to review the movie "Dunkirk", and then I realised that such a thread already existed. I would like to notify moderators to concatenate/join my new thread/post with the existing thread.

In the past, there was an easy way to report/notify a post to moderators.  Where is the link now?

The link "Report Post" is at the top of a users post. It used to be at the bottom I think. Software guy is keeping us on our toes.

I don't see the "Report Post" link in the particular OP of the thread, or any subsequent post in the thread.

Has the forum software changed?

I think I know what the issue is. On my browser (Google Chrome) the link to report a post does not show up unless you position the mouse somewhere inside the area containing the post. If the mouse is elsewhere, such as on the side of the screen, the link to "Report Post" disappears.

You must move your mouse cursor into the text area of the post you want to report, then look at the top right corner. You'll see "Report Post" is there.
Simple, isn't it?

You have to move your cursor to the top right of the post you want to report - the 'Report Post' text is hidden and will appear once you have done that.

The Report post link of the OP is in the same location as it is in each regular post.

No. If it is not visible then it is your browser that is not rendering it.

Thanks OW, fixed my problem. I was using Chrome.

So do I, but then I hate other forum software even more.

The 'problem' that I see with this software is that even in Chrome, it can screw up quotes.  They got too fancy with how quoting works without adding any actual extra capability.  It's possible for you to end up with a reply consisting of a quote of a full post, and not be able to modify it or get rid of the reply and start over.
