Oh really? Seen FOX lately. I understand it's Trump's favorite news source.

TORONTO –  Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has a message for refugees rejected by U.S. President Donald Trump: Canada will take you.

So, that's not what he said, but it is essentially true.  Canada will not discriminate based on geography or religion.

So, you're wrong again.  Dual Canadian citizens who also happen to be citizens of the 7 named countries cannot enter the United States of America.  Legal immigrants and refugees from those 7 countries residing in Canada could yesterday legally enter the United States - now they can't.

Why is that any of your business? Or mine? Or Trudeau's? The Americans have the right to have whatever control of their borders they want without Trudeau putting his snide, sanctimonious nose into it.

And just how many "dual" Canadian citizens from the seven countries involved could and would have entered the US anyway? A minuscule number.

They sure can't...will have to fly to another departure point for the U.S.    But they will get more points for their fabulous Air Miles rewards cards !

Or religious extremism, or ability to ever make a living in Canada. Don't worry! We'll pay for all of you! Well, the half of Canadians who actually still pay income taxes will pay for all of you!

So those are alternative facts that you have no actual basis for.  Try to stick to actual facts.

BTW Argus, I like how you left out the next line:

"The Prime Minister is looking forward to discussing the successes of Canada's immigration and refugee policy with the President when they next speak," Trudeau spokeswoman Kate Purchase told The Associated Press.

Note that the cite I gave was from an NBC station off the AP wire. Other American media will be running with it too. So it's quite likely Trump will read it.

Meh...   we don't need to kowtow to American policy/presidents.   Ask Trudeau Sr., Chrétien, and a few others...  we do fine setting ourselves apart from 'Murica.

You don't think that the Prime Minister of Canada should care if the US is excluding Canadians from entering the US based on citizenship?

He's not excluding them. He's excluding foreigners. They came to Canada and we let them in. What, they're not happy here? They want to go to the US?

BTW, the US excludes many, many Canadians  all the time for the flimsiest of reasons. The Canadian PM has never gotten involved.

75% of our exports go to the US, which is in the midst of a crazed protectionist re-write of all its trade policies by a petulant, vindictive man notoriously intolerant of criticism. You think this is the right time to taunt him about refugees?

No one taunted anyone.  Relax.
