The Left aren't taking the Trump Victory Well

The suicidal reactions of some progressives is to be expected, and makes for very funny YouTube videos.  Lacking any empathy for their self imposed depression, it is a joy to watch them pout and cry over the outcome of an election that just didn't go their media and polsters assumed way.

Context question: isn't it moral to care about your fellow citizens regardless of their political bent ?

You have phrased your carelessness well though, better than others on here, so your comment stands as an example of how amoral people should respond inhumanely to human suffering without trolling and breaking the news.  Thanks.

No, not in this political context.   Not when the progressive's welcomed their candidate's hateful labeling of the "deplorables".

I have phrased my carelessness well because that is how I "feel", and I can do it well regardless of what you think about it across the border.  My comments stand out because that is exactly what I intend them to do.   Got any more questions ?

Your 'feels' are significant to me... am always fascinated by when you invoke your amoralism and when you invoke patriotism.  It's indeed fun to watch, thanks.

You are most certainly welcome.   I am equally fascinated by the intent interest in whatever transpires in the United States.  It is also fun to watch.

How are they suffering?  They lost an election. So far this year I've lost three. I was rooting for Harper, Remain and Clinton.  I soldier on.

You should ask them.  They are clearly upset and people react differently to stress and different situations.

Edited to add: Including death, loss of income, disaster and so on.

How do you do it without hugs and safe spaces and trigger warnings ?   Don't you realize it is the end of their world ?

You don't really mean that.  They are stamping their feet and pouting.  When DT bans abortion I'll join them.

I do mean it.  People are in fact stressed out by different situations.  It's an individual's choice whether or not they want to give out empathy or not, and what their believed reasons for doing so might be.

I don't think I have seen anybody on the thread ever post that empathy, or morality in general is a 'bad' thing.  They just invoke personal reasons as to when to be moral or not.  It's difficult to understand people who are truly and unreservedly empathetic.  Pope John Paul II prayed for his assassin when the papal father was being taken to the hospital, for example.

The rioters and protestors are not stressed out based on actual reality.  The MSM painted Trump as a monster, and the simple minded lapped it up as if it were true.  So now that he's going to be the president, the simple minded are freaking out, invoking Hitler and abortions.  Look, Trump may be a scoundrel, but he's not going to bring about the downfall of civilization.  Good grief, I posted that earlier and a poster actually challenged me on it!!

These people that are freaking out do not deserve empathy, but they do get my pity and my patience, in time they will stop protesting or rioting and realize that hey, the sun came up again.

"Hello darkness my old friend".....depressed liberals vent and cry (and riot) because they didn't get their way (again).   Pundits admit they screwed up.

Clinton losers are "literally" going to kill themselves ?

Empathy and morality are not bad things.  The current batch of election protestors should be praying for Donald Trump.

I have heard this before, when the left tells people not to be afraid of unlikely things like terrorism.  Empathy includes the recognition that fears are sometimes irrational and sometimes rational - without having to tackle the question.

Agreed...I think we may have found the "stupid people".   How could they invest so much of themselves into an outcome they do not control.  They set themselves up for a colossal letdown.  A wild swing swing from euphoria in a Clinton victory to suicidal thoughts in defeat.   How does anyone function in real life that way?

I see them more as an opportunity to hone my mocking skills.

At least they had the civility to burn down Portland.

The crying girl who finally accepts President Trump was Miley Cyrus.   Some of these poor fragile losers are pulling themselves back from the ledge....others may jump.   I'm the guy on this political street looking up and literally shouting, "JUMP !!!"

It is good....adds a new dimension to the post election aftermath.   Wish we had it when Nixon won.
