This is so very sad but inevitable. The abused wife of an alcoholic gets charged when she ultimately kills her tormentor, but we all see it coming and sympathize with her plight. Some of the individuals shot or killed tonight were not the problem and likely just victims of circumstance. It's always sad when noble people are taken down by the taint of their colleagues. Carrying of guns has to end, institutionalized racism has to end, I suspect that this kind of retaliation is only the beginning. Those here, that make excuses for gun violence and racism should feel shame.

To be fair to the cops they probably imagine every American is packing a firearm. Who can really blame them?

That said I also can't blame Americans for standing their ground.
