I missed your declared "like manner acting" in relation to Paris/Jakarta... do you have related links that speak to "like manner acting"? Reasonable grounds for a level of concern... towards who/what? Towards those individuals depicted in the photos or does your suggested level of concern rise beyond them? I don't know that they are Muslims, the VPD described them as Middle eastern, my response was to Hudson Jones who broached the subject of Muslim terrorists/rapists and profiling. As to "acting like", as mentioned in all related terror attacks, authorities have stated pre-attack reconnaissance of intended targets is the norm, as such, this is clearly the VPD's motivation for conducting an investigation into these three.......now that said pictures are public, I would assume these three, if they had no ill intent, will contact the VPD for an interview to clear-up any misunderstandings. My son in law is an estimator and is constantly out and about taking pics. Of course he doesn't get his pic slapped across the pages of the Vancouver Sun because he's white. Shame on the Vancouver sun. For sure, and I think if nothing was Rotten in Denmark they will contact the VPD.........with that said, I would assume when you go out with friends or family shopping (like I), you don't walk in a fire-team wedge formation.........

If these guys are innocent the truth comes out- if they were not let's head off a tragedy. and get their faces out there. You completely missed the point because take your safety for granted. H Jones you are commended for transcending your biases on this one. This was a great example to discuss. It shows vividly how tough this issue is. It is right on point. Yes Muslims who are innocent feel the consequence of terrorism that's been caused by other Muslims and for that matter anyone who might look Muslim and I think that includes Indians, West Indians, mixed people, Latinos, Greeks, on and on. All minorities carry baggage of other minority members that look like them and did bad things. Students out on field trips wear id's or have something to say what school they are with precisely to avoid causing people fear. I teach at colleges. They don't send the students out without proper id or t shirts, etc. Contractors would be probably told to wear id in malls as well with the name of their company. I will be interested to see the follow up.
