Well, this is his revenge.

Unlimited economic growth has the marvelous quality of stilling discontent while preserving privilege, a fact that has not gone unnoticed among liberal economists.

@JustinTrudeau beat the shit out of me but I'm still voting for him. If I can, every other Canadian should! #cdnpoli #elxn42 #lpc #ndp #cpc

And maybe the international press will stop asking when Canada became so racist.

Canada has tons of racists once you leave the politically correct utopias of Montreal Vancouver and Toronto. The cities are turning into mostly non white while the whites leave to the suburbs and beyond. The suburbs are getting bigger because non whites have now started taking over the traditional suburbs so whites that work in Toronto and the gta are starting to flee to places like Alliston Barrie etc. Of course it's due to race. To think otherwise seems naive to me.

And won't it be great to finally have a PM who tells them they're wrong instead of pandering to them.

Given Trudeau's comments on natives it is clear that he is happy to pander to racists as long as the racists in question have brown skin.

Come talk to me again when he talks about creating a hotline just to report something that panders to native stereotypes.

Can you give an example here? While I'm sure there are FNs who are anti-white (not entirely without reason, I suppose), I wasn't aware of Trudeau, or any of the Federal leaders pandering to natives who are racists.

Still don't understand what racism is, eh?

No, he understands clearly what racism is. You just happen to subscribe to a different definition which is pushed by a very flawed movement.

It' not like others are pandering to racists of another skin colour.

I find it far more reasonable than Mulcair and the NDPs position.

The academic definition pushed by academia? You're not another one of those "white tower" hating anti-intellectuals are you?

Is Trudeau's racism the kind where white people think they're being short-changed because it looks like a non-white group is having the power imbalance somewhat redressed?

Many Aboriginals want to set up apartheid states across Canada where only people with the correct DNA have any rights to participate in government or vote on taxation. This goes way beyond redressing past wrongs and into the realm of gross racism which would be repellent to anyone if the people imposing these regimes were not brown skinned.

Many? How many? The only bands I know that are doing that are Mohawks, and even within their community is highly controversial. I'm not defending it, but one particular FN playing this game cannot be construed as some sort of general policy. FNs are incredibly diverse, so I call your claim rubbish.

Ok, thanks. Can you provide some cites, because odd as it seems, I'd rather see something a little less biased-sounding.

Look at the treatment of non-natives living on reserve land as it is. As a general rule non-natives are subject to taxes/rents levied by the band but are not entitled to vote for the band councils that set those rates. More onerous is the aboriginal groups see these levies as a revenue source as opposed to a way to collect the minimum amount of funds to provide services as is the norm for municipalities. Comparisons to apartheid or feudalism are not unreasonable here.

Aboriginals are also very resistant to giving up the tax exemptions which are a clearly racist policy inherited from days when racism was the norm.

He's not that much of a small "l" liberal in the modern sense, but he definitely is a Liberal Party of Canada partisan.

He's such an LPC partisan that he's voting NDP.
