It has been revealed that a number of medical personnel and students from different parts of the world are on their way (or have already gone) to the Syrian/Iraqi border to assist in the hospitals under control of ISIS.

The Hippocratic Oath that physicians take does not allow them to pick good guys or bad guys. Their responsibility is to help all guys. Does this include terrorists?

If this Canadian doctor comes back to Canada should he be charged for aiding and abetting the enemy?

SO what does that say IF... the West or other nations are supplying weapons to ISIS, can't imagine Obama or Harper ever going to jail the elite never do. The medical personnel that went there, went to help injured people and probably ISIS, who ever they really are under their mask.

Proof?

What kind of proof are you looking for? A respectable main stream media news site? Wonder what the CIA is up to these days, what country are they planning to take down next!?

Keep dreaming, the MSM is there to keep that from being common knowledge. Because they are not news agencies, they are entertainment agencies.

Right....some of us need reputable sources. You obviously don't.

If you want to see it, since I can't get it to post , its in the Iraqi news and one of the minister in the government has evidence that an US plane dropped supplies in ISIS area.

If we're talking about the US funding a group that they are also directly engaging with, then yes I would like something other than a fringe media source to give evidence of that. I think that it's reasonable to ask for that.

Jihadis from Iraq captured US heavy weapons and are using them against moderate rebels in Syria, whom the US refuses to arm accordingly.

Sad irony.

I don't think it should apply to aiding and abetting the enemy. If they are going there to help people;e who lack basic healthcare and in the process treat ISIS members as well it should not be held as some sort of treason against their country. There are plenty of people if not the vast majority of the population within the territory of ISIS that has little to no access to proper healthcare.

Hope for the Best, Prepare for the Worst

I think what you posted is obvious, so I'm not going to ask for a cite. Others are posting information that ISIS is actually a creation of the CIA. That would be explosive information, if it came from a credible source.

ISIS is certainly just one more creature of the West's stupid foreign policies. Nothing explosive about that.

If anything meh is more like it.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

Remember when people thought that it was a crazy notion that NATO via Turkey was training, supplying AND giving the FSA a base of operations in Turkey?

Remember when the CIA supplied weapons to the Muhajedeen?

Remember the Iran Contra Affair?

How about FARC rebels in South America?

The CIA is quite busy these days.

Well they were fighting proxy wars against the Soviet Union at that time. And they were never fighting Americans. I see facebook posts where people are saying ISIS was created by the Americans. That's just too much of a stretch, sorry.

Yes, people thought the same way with the Muhajedeen in Afghanistan. The US/CIA armed them, created them. The proxy war never ended, which is important to note. But it's documented fact now. It will be some years before the CIA or USA admits this fact, but it will come in time.

You ignored the point I made about Americans funding people to fight Americans. Of course people denied that the contras, the muhajedeen were funded, but it's not the same at all.
