Chomsky defeated himself...with the same tired rhetoric. Everything is a "war crime". Yawn.....

Stockton, California is indicative of the declining American empire.

Chomsky is one America's strongest voice of reason.

Thankful to have become a free thinker.

The loss of American empire would just be a bigger Canada...is that so bad ?

Only Canadian voices of reason are respected around the world.....because reason is cheap.

America has terrible public education due to under funding, but gives billions of taxpayers money to billionaire owners to build football stadiums. No brains I guess.

Americans "give" far more money to education than to football teams. Best university systems in the world are very expensive.

I'm talking about public schools. You know, the schools that those who aren't filthy rich get to go to.

Seriously though Chomsky is a brilliant man. This is common knowledge.I just believe his theories always ignore the human greed factor.

Greed is not some big evil person. It is a human emotion that is a constant factor in everything. How many public sector strikes have been ended by buying the workers and the unions themselves.

You can deny all you want but can anybody post a link where an NDP elected MP or MPP has turn down a raise or perk. It is usually the NDP that are pushing for bigger raises or expense accounts.

Greed is constantly ignored when isms are concerned except capitalism which is just more honest about it.

Americans pay more for those too....more per capita spending per student than in Canada. Indian and Chinese nationals seek entry into more U.S. schools than Canadian.

I'e read the documents from the NEA. Public education in the USA is grossly underfunded.

Sorry...you are just wrong....the United States spends far more per student than does Canada. Your original assertion vis-a-vis football stadiums is just patently false.

The U.S. has an education industry worth far more than Canada's (per capita). Education is a huge business, a notion not lost on teacher unions. Canada imports curricula and testing frameworks from the U.S. (e.g. SAT, ACT, GMAT, etc.)

I know this because I work for the largest education publisher in the world.

You have quoted American references in previous hero rants about education.

Chomsky is an American....his early education was in a PRIVATE SCHOOL !!

Chomsky is an American !

So you work for Pearson International, largest receivers of corporate welfare in the world.

American education thinks filling bubbles on standardized test is quality education. That is why US education is dropping in world rankings while Finland and Canada remain near the top.

Not because of spending...your original (false assertion). Top Canadians go to the USA for better access and opportunity.
