I just upgraded to Windows 8.1. Now I cannot cut or paste into anything on this board. Even when klicking on "Quote" on a post, the post does not reappear in the "Reply to this topic" window.

Help!

Try this: http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/24032-catholics-embrace-evolution/page-2#entry1007884

Is it just the right-click paste option that's missng? Does CTRL + V allow you to paste?

Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Total fail of the moderation on this site! That reminds me, never ask Greg to be a business partner! NEVER!

It doesn't seem to matter which browser I use. I can't get the 'quote' to work, only sporadically.

Yes, it's clearly not consistent. And it's a pain because I am hoping back n forth between browsers.

Have you folks with ongoing c&p issues made the switch to Chrome or not and if not for the love of Pete why not?

Firefox has reported cut and paste issues on other sites as well. I posted some info about a possible fix earlier. Either try to fix it or change browsers.

Highlight, right click, copy...right click then paste... this doesn't work? I just don't get it.

ctrl c...ctrl v... and nothing?

I'd probably be more suspicious of a Windows issue.

I normally use Firefox, but it's running like a snail this morning for some reason. So I tried Explorer, which works elsewhere, but not here. Clicking the quote button gives me a blank page. Clicking the link button gives me a complicated box which will neither function nor close. Yes, Chrome seems to function quite well here, but if Greg's desire to have more visitors is still in effect, it would behoove him to figure out why Explorer users can't effectively use this site. They are still the majority of internet users, I believe, and would be prone to just going away if they try to make a first post and can't.

No. Quite the contrary.

It behooves Bill Gates to tell you all what is up with his software and what his software is doing to you. Maybe if you read the fine print of your Internet Destroyer program, you might get a clue.
