Argus Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 We know that since you raison d'etre is to slam the Courts when they uphold violations of citizens. This is just another slam. Whatever. I believe in justice. Where the courts deviate from that belief I deviate from my support for them. Argus Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Yeah, but we all know black people are thugs by default to some posters, while white people have to prove themselves to be thugs. That doesn't arise since he proved himself a thug. guyser Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Wow.Wow is right. That Cop should never wear a badge again, nor be allowed to carry a gun. If he gets shot some day on a lonely road, I would not be surprised nor would I give a shit. That is one giant chickenshit cop. Edited September 25, 2014 by Guyser2 Quote

BubberMiley Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 That doesn't arise since he proved himself a thug. What are you referring to? Picking up a toy in the toy department? Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
cybercoma Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 What are you referring to? Picking up a toy in the toy department? He was probably going to steal it and we all know once a thug, always a thug, so it's a good thing the cops shot him. Quote
cybercoma Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Ever hear a white kid get called a thug? Ever hear commits who illegally assault innocent civilians get called thugs? Ever hear Wall St. execs who steal grandma's retirement fund thugs?Nah. It seems thug has a very specific definition. Those who are given this thug label are also asking for harsher sanctions on their behaviours. Quote
Shady Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Ever hear a white kid get called a thug? . Yep. Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Well I just found out American's have a much higher chance of being shot by a cop than killed in a terrorist attack. Quote
GostHacked Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Maybe it's that there's a presumption that officers are doing their job? Killing people on duty is part of their job? Or a side effect? Mighty AC posted something that seems to prove my other point/thread about police brutality/police state in the USA. Land of the free to get shot when actually complying with an officer's request. Wtf is wrong with our society? Quote
GostHacked Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Well I just found out American's have a much higher chance of being shot by a cop than killed in a terrorist attack. That has ALWAYS been the case. Surprised some are just starting to become aware of it. Or do we need a couple more buildings to fall and blame it on some foreign entity/boogie man that the US probably helped create in the first place. Blowback is the term used I believe. Quote

On Guard for Thee Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Not sure I get your point. Apparently there were some "boogey men" flying those airplanes into those buildings. I don't think they were NY city cops. Quote

I don't think they were NY city cops. I don't think they were guys in caves either. How does a passport, that manage to escape a crashing plane into a large building that eventually collapsed... completely unscathed!? Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Oh not more conspiracy theories. Why does a building collapse when a plane flies into it when it has been designed to have a plane fly into it? It's one of the conspiracy guys fav's but it's not a trick question. There is an answer the "theorists" didn't know about before they stuck foot in mouth. Quote

Plane goes boom, paper passport is found on the ground. And not just any passport. Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Many things were found that oddly escaped being destroyed. Happens all the time in such events. My question still stands. Quote

How is such an item found so easily in all that rubble? I guess it really is not hard to find a needle in a haystack. Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Simple twist of fate. As I say, happens all the time. Had friends who had a trailer blown away in Fla in a hurricane. All they found was a few early pics of their kids. No bits of the trailer at all. Quote

A number of other pejorative terms come to mind. Regardless, I think your indignation is simply 'the liberal bigotry of low expectations'. If Brown was white you wouldn't care about what had happened. Because he's Black you're up on your high horse and both ignoring and excusing his own contribution to this. After all, he was Black, what could you expect from him? The White guy should have acted better! On Guard for Thee Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 I'd say your whole post has a racial ring to it. The assumptions you attribute to the previous poster pretty much indicate that. Quote

People just need to go back and read your post about the TTC shooting. There's a clear difference in tone and the person on the TTC actually had a weapon and was in close quarters with the cops. Neither death was justified though. You seem to think the Ferguson one is. Quote

Neither death was justified though. You seem to think the Ferguson one is. Well, first off, the TTC guy wasn't white. Second, it was on video, so there was no doubt about what happened. But don't let the facts get in the way of your moral superiority.
