Lol, wat? You are defining traits of 'real atheists' now?

Atheism is a lack of belief in gods, beyond that there is nothing that unites them. Some want to be left alone while others do not.

Organized atheism is no better than organized religion.

Exactly. Some atheists form groups with a cause, like humanism or the promotion of separation of church and state, but those causes are not part of atheism, just a separate pursuit preferred by some of us godless heathens. As Euler man said atheism itself is just the absence of a belief in gods.

Which atheist organization are you referring to?

You need to put brackets around the s. An absence of a belief in god(s). Many religious people also don't believe in gods.

Atheists don't believe in all of the magical, mystical, sky people. Which means we just disbelieve in one more god than you.

That's the problem with Canada these days. All these atheists who don't believe in anything ruining the morals and values of our once great nation. That's why we now allow all sorts of debauchery like gay marriage and prostitution. Thankfully we have the Harper Government to keep us on track and not fall victim to the whims of the godless's basest desires.

What's ridiculous is people abandoning God and His moral guidance in favour of a life in the absence of morals. We can see yet in our legislation. We allow all sorts of immoral things these days like gays marrying, the murder of innocent unborn children, and socialist thievery.

Come on, stop telling everyone about our secret atheist agenda. Our plan to take over the world through moral destabilization will never work if you keep telling everyone about it.

I don't believe in god.

Actuality I'd consider myself more agnostic. Which is the logical and sensible position. Atheism, illustrated perfectly by the individual, has become like a new religion with its own crazies.

This debate has over terms has been re-hashed a couple times. I use the word 'anti-theist' to describe the atheists who prosthelytize.

Maybe not a good ambassador for atheists... but why do guys who shows up at campuses or street-corners telling people they're going to "Hell" deserve any courtesy?

Watch the video of this guy, then watch some videos of "Shawn The Baptist", and tell me who's the real f*-up.

Perhaps they both are.

Because in case you weren't aware, there's a little thing called Rights in this country. People have the right to free speech, they have freedom of religion, and they have mobility rights to go where they want. Those who promote the Liberal Agenda want to silence people who are trying to save society from the immoral debauchery that has been plaguing it for a generation. Why should atheists and their ilk have the right to our children's hearts, minds, and souls? We need to fight back against the oppressive force of the Liberal Agenda, which is everywhere you turn these days. That means spreading the word of proper values and morals.

Atheist and agnostic are not both positions on the same spectrum, but based on your statement you are also an atheist. As mentioned this has been covered in several threads but here is are the Cole's Notes.

Theism/Atheism - deals with belief and lack of belief.

Gnostic/Agnostic - deals with knowledge and lack of knowledge.

Like you, I am an agnostic atheist. I do not have any reason to believe in gods but I also will not claim to know that they do not exist.

Anyway, now that I know we are on the same page I can fill you in on our plans to erode society's morals, through inclusion and freedom of thought.
