Michael Hardner Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Why not rely on my personal experience? It IS my experience. Other than these incidents have you ever heard about from people themselves that they were able to get a cell connection at altitude? I should have said 'solely'. Because your experience doesn't and can't span the realm of the possible. Alternately, if I said "9/11 isn't a conspiracy because I haven't personally experienced any such thing" would that be reasonable ? I have heard of people making a connection at high altitudes, yes. Sure we are playing this out out to death because we know that cannot happen over the ocean. So them trotting out this cell phone thing is total bull. Grasping as straws here. With regards to MH 370, I think I lost the thread of who was making what claim ? Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner

On Guard for Thee Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 well, apparently, they did not sign off 'good night'. they signed off as is typical. Wtf is the malaysian govt hiding? This is another one that boggles my mind. As a pilot I know that everything you say into a radio that is within range of any ATC facility is recorded when it hits their radio. Why the hell did it take 3 weeks or so to get a proper transcript? At the same time the press made a big deal of that earlier reported last comment being not proper radio jargon and therefore an indicator of something sinister. I'm sure any pilots out there will agree they have all spoken on the radio without following exactly proper procedure. Personally I don't think they are hiding anything. I tend to think it's just that the wrong people ended up in charge of the initial search based on ICAO procedures. Quote

On Guard for Thee Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Of course the people who know what they are doing with this search are not interrupted by such nonsense. My heart does go out to the families and dear ones who have to deal with all these zigs and zags. Lot's of politics involved here of curse but it is an American aircraft and I'll say too bad the NTSB wasn't in more control. Quote
WWWTT Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Here we go again, another dead end on the search for this missing plane! Turns out that the garbage/debris spotted by satellite images is just that and not of any plane. I personally do not accept that this plane can go missing in this manner and the world governments can come up empty. WWWTT Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Gaps in evidence imply that somebody is providing evidence for a theory, and that theory is wanting. It's subjective to make that judgment, so somebody could say that in response to almost any incident and explanation. Actually, when you make an argument you're already doing a job. If you want to do a better job, ie. convince more people, then use sources that more people can believe. It's that simple. I have given you some attention already, and feedback. I don't think you and I have much more to say on this particular case. My advice for making convincing arguments is there for you to take or leave as you see fit. To me, your first comment here is just babbling jibberish. Don't know what your getting at??? As far as the second comment goes, show me in the forum rules where it says that I have to use specific sources. Only thing is written is "official". Does this forum have a list of what are "official" web sites or news sources? And as far as the third comment goes, if a forum facilitator is going to be a regular poster here, than another poster should have the ability to put you on their ignore list! Ya I thought it was real odd that some people actually gave an Iranian terrorist conspiracy theory any attention at all! I still find it very troubling that a huge plane like this can just freekin vanish without a trace! GostHacked Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Ya I thought it was real odd that some people actually gave an Iranian terrorist conspiracy theory any attention at all! And when that did not pan out, the blame was shifted towards the pilots who could not defend themselves. They crashes in that part of the ocean, nope wait, over there... no .. , well maybe over there. Notice anything odd about these pictures that were put forth by officials about those suspected Iranians?? At the very least or at the very worst (depending on your perspective), it shows that technology is not as advanced as many may believe! Events like this prove that people have much misplaced faith in science and technology! WWWTT The technology here is not to blame. Something is very wrong with everything that officials have put forth with trying to explain and figure out what exactly went wrong. Some unsubstantiated reports are indicating that Boeing got a signal from the plane when it landed. Suspected to have landed at Diego Garcia. That might explain the cell phone connections, but no answers. I am not sure about this part, but it's just as plausible as most of the other junk officials are putting forth. Quote

WWWTT Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Ya the Iranian terror plot was way too out there to have any credibility! I wouldn't look too much into it because it was shot down as soon as it came out, with the reports of the mother in Frankfurt very worried her son wasn't there yet. If this plane wreckage is not found than one must conclude that it must have landed. Another interesting point is that this mystery is starting to re-open debate on 9/11!!!! Say now, thats not you ....................is it? Nothing like a good Iranian conspiracy that the officials tried to trot out early on. The reason that you can see a conspiracy is because they cannot keep their story straight. Is it incompetence, or deliberate? If incompetence, then we have to question the ability of our leaders and officials. If deliberate, then we have to question the integrity of our leaders and officials. Yes on one hand, I would hate to believe that there are people out there that can just randomly take over a plane that I may be on and kill everyone on board. That would mean that all the safety and security measure put in place have failed! On the other hand, it is not reassuring that any random plane can go missing and the authorities say, hey sorry but we can't find it. But hey, maybe the pilot had committed suicide with everyone on board! That's even freekin worse!!! And then there is the possibility that everything completely failed, all the back up systems and tracking devices that are designed/tested and proven If the government of some country commandeered the plane like suggested earlier, that would actually be the most reassuring scenario! Then there is the possibility that all the people aboard are alive! But I guess a happy ending is a way out there/hard to believe conspiracy theory for some people?!?!?!??! GostHacked Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 WWWTT My suspicions are the plane was hijacked. I am not exactly sure how or why. But a hunch tells me the plane will be used in a terror attack in the near future. But then there is another possibility the plane was shot down to prevent a terror attack about to take place. So, still lots of questions remain, and every time we get some information from these officials, more questions come up. Then the information changes. If the plane was detected to be heading in the direction to the middle of the Indian Ocean, then there is a possibility that it landed at Diego Garcia. The US military has large hangers there, but I do not think they are big enough for a 777. But then could have made a quick pit stop to refuel and off to another location. That is pure speculation from me. So anyone figure out what was wrong with the so called CCTV snaps of the Iranians? Quote
