The truth about Israel's secret nuclear arsenal

zionist apologists talk about "singling out israel" when it comes to its violations of international law. any time there is criticism of israel, this particular card is pulled out more often than the others in order to curb and stop legitimate criticism of israel.

an article in the guardian, was a reminder of the hypocrisy of the zionist/colonialist approach to debate on world politics and the western stance on different issues:

Israel has been stealing nuclear secrets and covertly making bombs since the 1950s. And western governments, including Britain and the US, turn a blind eye. But how can we expect Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions if the Israelis won't come clean?

Israel is not a signatory to the NPT, so it can do whatever it pleases with respect to nuclear power and weapons development. Iran ratified and entered into NPT obligations decades ago.

But you already knew this.

...and even with Yom Kippur, there was no bright flashes in the desert.

So, if Iran withdrew from the NPT, you would have no issues with them developing nukes - is that what you're saying?

Thanks for the link, bud. It makes interesting reading.

If its contents are true, France has been highly irresponsible and bears the blame for a signicant portion of nuclear proliferation. The US comes across as both incompetent and irresponsible - allowing Israel to easily manipulate it.

There is a telling quote that describes why many countries (and especially dictators) want nuclear wepaons.

France's first reactor went critical as early as 1948 but the decision to build nuclear weapons seems to have been taken in 1954, after Pierre Mendès France made his first trip to Washington as president of the council of ministers of the chaotic Fourth Republic. On the way back he told an aide: "It's exactly like a meeting of gangsters. Everyone is putting his gun on the table, if you have no gun you are nobody. So we must have a nuclear programme."

I've rarely seen a more apt description of international diplomacy.

Oh Ok then, so the US is ok with Israeli spies stealing nuclear secrets and threatening world peace because it is not obligated due to signing an agreement?????

Man that's a very weak argument!

Yes....the U.S. continued foreign aid without interruption. And Canada kept supplying the U.S. and U.K. with uranium for "world peace".

At least if they withdrew, it would finally put an end to their charade about only seeking such technology for nuclear energy purposes. At least I could respect their honesty.

Sure...and if pigs had wings they could fly. Are you OK with pigs flying ?

north korea is, apparently, flying pigs.

if it wants to, iran could go rogue like north korea and israel and get nuclear weapons.

if only bush and the neocons had agreed to a deal, which is very similar to the one today, before iran had the 15000 centrifuges it has today. arrogance usually ends on the losing side. israel's arrogance and its influence over u.s. politicians are nearing an end. there is too much resistance and knowledge of what is going on.

Oh, honesty. There's a fun word.

Like the honesty that Israel displayed by pretending it didn't have nukes. And the honestly that the USA displayed by pretending it didn't know about them. The world is full of honesty. It's only Iran that's pretending.

Actually, in fairness, it's not a weak argument. It's really not an argument at all. BC knows he has nothing and he's playing run and hide with the issues.

Yep...sure could....so what ? They have not done so. That would be the pigs flying.

What did Canada do about it ? Kept shipping uranium to the U.S. for enrichment and D.U. kinetic weapons.

pigs flying is used to reference something that is impossible. if north korea, india and pakistan can do it, iran, with the technology they already have and the support they would receive from russia, could easily get the weapons.

What did Canada do about it ? Kept shipping uranium to the U.S. for enrichment and D.U. kinetic weapons.

you have a hard time focusing. like a little child who, as soon as he doesn't like hearing something, tries to change the subject by bringing up something irrelevant. "but.. but... charlie did this!"

Nope sorry, has nothing to do with a treaty.

Has to do with the lobbyists in the US.

Very weak debating platform that you are using when you can't back up your original claim.

Meh...what the author of that insightful article forgot to mention is that Edward Teller likely gave Israel all it needed to know in terms of making quality nuclear weapons. Everything besides that was merely icing on the cake.

Your use of the term "Zionist Apologists" says a lot about you.......even without the bias you display, you're basing your argument on some sort of mis-placed relativism. Since Israel was granted its land by the League of Nations, it has been threatened with annihilation and attacked on multiple occasions by the Arab nations that surround it. To guard against the hatred its enemies have clearly and repeatedly shown to this day, Israel has had no choice but to be perpetually prepared for the vilest of aggression - suicide attacks, rockets and mortars, and yes, Nuclear attacks. Winning wars decisively and carrying the biggest stick in the neighbourhood are a necessity for survival - literally.....or perhaps you've dismissed the Hamas Constitution and Iran's former President's repeated declarations that Israel should not exist and that Iran would drive them into the sea - perhaps those rantings should just be ignored? Remember Neville Chamberlain?

If Israel is pointing the finger, they need to come clean with their own nuclear weapons stockpile before they even consider bashing Iran. Man up, join the NPT and declare the weapons. No? Alright, don't expect Iran to disclose anything, and don't get upset about it.

There is no debate.....Israel is not a signatory to the NPT...Iran is.

Then if there is no debate, your bringing up the fact that Israel is not signatory to the NPT is a useless, worthless irrelevant and trivial bit of information that does not support Israel.

In other words, it's a waste of time.
