bud Posted January 25, 2014 Report Share Posted January 25, 2014 (edited) zionist apologists talk about "singling out israel" when it comes to its violations of international law. any time there is criticism of israel, this particular card is pulled out more often than the others in order to curb and stop legitimate criticism of israel. an article in the guardian, was a reminder of the hypocrisy of the zionist/colonialist approach to debate on world politics and the western stance on different issues: Israel has been stealing nuclear secrets and covertly making bombs since the 1950s. And western governments, including Britain and the US, turn a blind eye. But how can we expect Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions if the Israelis won't come clean? If its contents are true, France has been highly irresponsible and bears the blame for a signicant portion of nuclear proliferation. The US comes across as both incompetent and irresponsible - allowing Israel to easily manipulate it. There is a telling quote that describes why many countries (and especially dictators) want nuclear wepaons. France's first reactor went critical as early as 1948 but the decision to build nuclear weapons seems to have been taken in 1954, after Pierre Mendès France made his first trip to Washington as president of the council of ministers of the chaotic Fourth Republic. On the way back he told an aide: "It's exactly like a meeting of gangsters. Everyone is putting his gun on the table, if you have no gun you are nobody. So we must have a nuclear programme." Since Israel was granted its land by the League of Nations, it has been threatened with annihilation and attacked on multiple occasions by the Arab nations that surround it. To guard against the hatred its enemies have clearly and repeatedly shown to this day, Israel has had no choice but to be perpetually prepared for the vilest of aggression - suicide attacks, rockets and mortars, and yes, Nuclear attacks. Winning wars decisively and carrying the biggest stick in the neighbourhood are a necessity for survival - literally.....or perhaps you've dismissed the Hamas Constitution and Iran's former President's repeated declarations that Israel should not exist and that Iran would drive them into the sea - perhaps those rantings should just be ignored?
