...BC, you can mock Canada's US obsession with some cause, but the world is getting smaller, even big ole Texas.

With some cause ? You guys make it a lot easier than that. Texas has been doing "immigration" a lot longer than Canada.

Pretty quiet compared to a lot of places, but in 1000 it was THE source for Norse... The Tex-Mex border wasn't as busy then.

Millions of Mexican-Americans trump your puny Norse numbers. But you already knew that.

Yes I did. You're on two posts (or 2 strikes) now where you're running away from this statement of yours:

" Texas has been doing "immigration" a lot longer"

Does Texas have a '3 Strikes' law ? I do...

No...but maybe David Suzuki can help them out with immigration. He has so many wonderful ideas.

Not sure why: do you see a lot of other racists around here?

Maybe you should look for a different forum. You're the bleeding hart Liberal on a Texas owned forum.

For someone open to immigration and against racism . Black dog sure isn't very open to differences of opinions and values. And that is perfectly normal, he is allowed to hate someone or something, even if he has absolutely no other reason other then not understanding the other. Why would he bother trying. It's much easier to just hate him.

You're correct: I'm quite intolerant of poorly-formed opinions and retrograde value sets, especially when coated with a film of pseudo-scientific evo-psych b.s.

It's simpler then that, You just hate being proven outright wrong. It makes you very angry. Like you're expressing now.

You hate to have your fundamental base values be completed rendered illogical. It makes you feel stupid.

You don't like the idea that everything you have believed all your life may actually be all wrong.

Yea I understand.

Your allowed to hate me for absolutely no valid reason other then misunderstanding,

But none of this has happened here. You've rattled off a bunch of empty slogans and just-so stories like "racism is born out of a humans love for his family" as opposed to simple tribal ignorance and fear. Basic white-supremacist stuff, but lacking any real courage of those convictions.

Someone who once said, the earth is not flat, it's actually round had the same response then, from that statement that you are giving to me now for my statement.

I understand, no one likes what he believes challenged and proven wrong.

A majority of humans would rather continue believing in there incorrect view then face the reality that they are wrong. Just like in my example above.

What do they call that? Misplaced pride.

That is a short attention span...... Try to have a nice day.

In a forum you can go back and read a post 500 times until you understand. And if you haven't understood yet after that, there is simply no hope that you ever will.

I see this kind of evasion a lot from people who don't actually have a point to make. It's actually a form of trolling.I'm not gonna give you the satisfaction.

There is that miss placed pride I mentioned a few post ago.

You are the one being aggressive towards me, You have basically come out and publicly said you hate me. Pure and simply. I've only replied to your constant attacking. if you have a intelligent questions to ask I'll be happy to answer it. Until you do, you're the one spinning in mud slinging it, looking foolish.

Before you popped into this thread and started posting hateful things towards me we were having a regular enjoyable discussion, and it's been rude comments ever since you showed up. I invite you to go back and read to verify my claim.

If you want to contact the moderators be my guest, it's very clear you have made me your target.

Guys,

Enough.

Anybody who posts 1 whiff of a personal comment will take a brief vacation.

We do not have time for a meeting of the flat earth society.

An asteroid could also come along and destroy all living things on Earth. This too could be awful to think of. Anticipating our future generation's welfare is 'good' to some degree. But I have a feeling that 5 generations down the road might not even be feasible for our Earth! Population growth is exponential. I don't know what the known rate of growth is but know that we couldn't sustain that on Earth by then. [see http://www.prb.org/Publications/Lesson-Plans/HumanPopulation/PopulationGrowth.aspx]

With so much we don't know, I'm not going to leave it to chance. I think it's unwise to bare no children at all.

There are to many things we still ignore about it. We know nothing of the after death.

Children could, potentially be extremely important. And there is no way to find out about it until it's too late.

Lack of imagination can be devastating.

To my bold and underlined emphasis above:

How do you presume anyone can simply opt 'wisely' to bare[sic] (I hope you mean "bear"!) children? That is, you're presuming something about the majority of the world based on something you seem to think is simple and easy for yourself (?).

I agree....it is wonderful now to have somebody else mow the lawn each weekend !

didn't think we still had support for child labour in North America

. If I couldn't have children, it would make me very bitter to know someone chose not too with the ability. Edited by Freddy
