Like I said, you've got no place in the forum if you meet arguments/rebuttals you can't answer by just suddenly accusing them of, "trolling." That's being unfair and dishonest. Not to say, childish. Furthermore, you abuse the word, and cheapen the rule. That's all I'm saying.

I did a search, and since I've been on MLW since 2007 I've used the words "troll" or "trolling" exactly 5 times (4 of those aimed at the currently accused, once at "socialist") before this thread. I used the term another time replying to a thread called "Is trolling a mental illness?" where I accused nobody, so that doesn't count. So 2 people I've accused of trolling in over 5 years, that's hardly using the term lightly.

So accusing me of throwing "troll" around like a discus and abusing/cheapening the rule? "That's being unfair and dishonest. Not to say, childish". All I'm saying is please present evidence that BC doesn't partake in trolling here regularly. I'm sure I could rustle up a significant number of fellow posters who would side with me, and he's been accused many times before by many other users.

You threw it 4 times at the currently accused....and we see nothing trolling about his comment! That's 4 times too many! I wouldn't even bother inquiring who the socialist is....chances are, he was unfairly accused too. Ask me how many times I really accused someone of being a troll (not counting when I hold up the mirror to show the reflection back)....c'mon, ask me. "betsy, how many times did you go out of your way to call someone a troll?"

I just did the same search for me, except with the word bigot. I've called someone a bigot 3 times...and implied that I agreed with someone being called that by another poster twice....

If someone is indeed trolling, as it's against the rules, a report to the admin/moderators should take care of it. In other words, it's their call to make, not yours - and the constant accusations of trolling by too many here - as well as the accusations of "bigot/racist/hasbarabot/et al" do nothing to add to the discussion. Since you're on about the rules, the rules say to debate the idea, not the person - and such accusations are nothing more than name calling; ie: attacking the individual, which is against the rules.

Btw, I just happen to look at your photo....what's made to look like a "gay Jesus." It says, "gay Jesus offends Christians." Are you deliberately being offensive? And you're trying to offend Christians in particular who come to the forum?

Agreed... it is an attempt to silence contrary views, be they valid or not. Some of them get so righteous they actually think their demands to stop posting will be "obeyed". Their favorite temper tantrums often include an indignant "STFU". How clever.....

But you very likely didn't look at my prior accusations (given that "socialist" is a username, not an ideological label I gave them, and would have known that had you looked at the posts I referenced) so why are you saying it's 4 times too many? Why would you assume "socialist" was unfairly accused if you've only seen one example of me accusing anyone. You seem to consistently make generalizations and conclusions, whether religious/metaphysical or personal, based on a lack of evidence.

I love the "what if it's true?" reasoning. Yeah, right. Moonlight Graham says you're a troll and Smallc says I'm a bigot for holding different views that he does, so that means "it's true." Honestly, nothing brings down discussions quicker than such constant, mindless accusations.
