cybercoma Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 I second this. They've been suspended long enough. Yeesh.

BubberMiley Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Yeah, no kidding. They should be rewarded for not immediately rebooting themselves as a disabled person too. "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
Signals.Cpl Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Yeah, no kidding. They should be rewarded for not immediately rebooting themselves as a disabled person too. What if Merlin really is not Mr. Canada? Hope for the Best, Prepare for the Worst
Guest Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 I was willing to give Merlin the benefit of the doubt until today's post about gay lifestyles. It was just too close to MrCanada's posts. Not that I find anything wrong with him rejoining under a different name. I don't believe in banning people except for the most egregious offences, and from what I heard, his were not that.
msj Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 They have paid their debt to society. I know some on this forum will blame me for reporting Manny and getting him suspended. In reality, he got himself banned when he wished I was dead and presented absolutely no argument of substance behind it. However, apparently he got 2 months when I was expecting him to get something closer to 2 weeks. So I agree that he should be freed by now. As for Jack, I have no idea why he has been banned/suspended for so long and would like to see him back. If a believer demands that I, as a non-believer, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy. Topaz Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 yeah, what did they say to get booted, of course with my experience of being booted, one has to watch what one says about a certain federal political party. What happen to the Freedom of Speech? Maybe I shouldn't ask.
msj Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 What happen to the Freedom of Speech? This is not rocket science: you do not have "freedom of speech" when it comes to a privately run and operated forum. There are rules posted and you either follow them and don't get suspended or not. If a believer demands that I, as a non-believer, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy.
