Guest American Woman Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 I have assaults in my past, got a pardon and I have my PAL and weapons in my home. I have never had any gun charges. And how are we supposed to know that this claim is any more true than your previous claim that all of your assaults were with a weapon, including a gun? Quote
eyeball Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 Do you think that you were treated in a lax way by our corrections system ? Did that contribute to your political views ? His political views probably contributed to him winning his pardon and right to own guns again. I expect the authorities only pause to consider when lefties apply for these. Mr.Canada Posted November 2, 2012 Author Report Posted November 2, 2012 Do you think that you were treated in a lax way by our corrections system ? Did that contribute to your political views ? No I don't think so I was treated lax. I never got away with anything. I always freely admitted when I was caught. It's hard to say I didn't do it when I'm on top of a guy outside a bar beating the crap out of him. I never did any real hard time in a penitentiary. Always in provincial jails. Most I did was about 5-6 months once and 120 days another time. My crimes were always spur of the moment assaults. I'd be drunk, some guy would mouth off and I'd just start smashing him, without warning. I've always held somewhat right wing views since my parents had always voted PC so around the dinner table that was the slant of the conversation. I'm sure it helped shape me. I never felt that PC party was severe enough. Reform party was perfect. Now we have the PC party by another name, it's pathetic. jacee Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 To some people it doesn't look "cool". Just looks dangerous. Your association of forcing a religion on everyone with jackboots marching in the streets is extremely disturbing. So ... NO! ... I don't share your vision. It's scary, and a kind of extremism that I hope never infests Canada. In your case perhaps it isn't 'racial purity' that motivates your nazi-esque fantasies, but 'religious purity'. That puts you in the same category as Islamic terrorists. Extremely dangerous. There are lots of people whose compulsion for 'tidiness' leads them to interfere with the rights of others. It isn't healthy. Perhaps you need to refocus on how to live your own life. instead of how other people 'should' live theirs. Because it isn't your right to impose your need for order and sameness on other people. Quote

If people felt pride in their country they would vote more. Why should we want people to vote more ? They should only vote once. jacee Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 I don't see pride in country as military marching in the streets, and especially not as forcing one religion on everybody. Quote

Perhaps, but together your posting style seems similar, but from a polar opposite end of the political spectrum, well playing up on each “sides” stereotypes of the other, to such an extreme extent so as to inflame everyone……..Like I said in reference to your earlier claim of being a legal gun owner, I’m sure most don’t believe you, but at the same time, don’t care what either of you have to say………. I suppose if the moderators really cared, they could always check the IP addresses of both of you…….but why bother Quote

If people felt pride in their country they would vote more. More boisterous displays of transparency, honesty and noblesse oblige from the people in or who seek power is the only thing that will likely get me to vote. I only get more ashamed of my country and less likely to give a shit about it the farther we get from these. I agree, but I suppose it would be difficult to determine if two actual members just shared the same address as opposed to two different accounts…..i.e. a couple or collage roommates………..Ultimately it wood be a judgement call I suppose, if it mattered, and one would have to base it on the general themes of said suspect “posters”……… Like I said though, why go to the trouble?
