jbg
Thank you, but that appears to be a search function for the entire Mapleleafweb site and it hasn't generated results for the forum. The search function that used to be associated with the forum apparently is no longer available as far as I can see, so I'm wondering if I'm just missing something. Has anyone else had any success doing a search for something on the forum? You appear to be right on this. I hope the matter is addressable. Michael Hardner
Please post a new thread in Support & Questions for this. You can use a modified google search, I think, to help somewhat in the meantime: Add the suffix site:www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/ to your search
TheNewTeddy
I've recently joined a new forum that uses this identical software. They allow users who have not had a "warning point adjustment" (up or down) to request a reduction after 1 month. This ensures that "old time users" do not end up with more warnings than new trolls. Forum Admin Greg Posted October 15, 2012 Author Forum Admin Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 I've recently joined a new forum that uses this identical software. They allow users who have not had a "warning point adjustment" (up or down) to request a reduction after 1 month. That's a good idea. I'll look into the logistics of this feature. However, I would prefer if the points just expired after a certain amount of time. But remember, only you and the moderators can see the points and as I stated earlier, the points mean less in the long run as compared to the severity of a specific infraction.
