Shady Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 This pretty much sums up what we're up against, not only in America, but in Canada too. Quote

Topaz Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 I don't think the world wants the US to fail, I think they want the US to change some of it ways and go back to the country that earned the respect it once had before in the late 1950's before the murder of JFK. Quote

Really? The US was doing some very nasty things back in the 1950's and JFK continued the trend (see Bay of Pigs). Diefenbaker had Kennedy killed for his role in undermining the PM's military policies and popularity in Canada. Even if the US did "fail", some Canadians would bitch about that too. George Bush Sr. discontinued a lot of the uglier cold war alliances, as I remember so maybe we should be celebrating him, not Kennedy ? I don't get this video. Did somebody ban oil ? Sure...why not...but he did keep the uglier Cold War alliance with Canada. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

It used to be "the US sneezes, Canada gets a cold". Now they'll be saying "the US gets a cold, Canada gets pneumonia". Quote "We always want the best man to win an election. That's why America needs a president that will make things better, instead of masking the pain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-dQfb8WQvo Quote
GostHacked Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 If you think you are going to get that with the next president Shady you are more deluded than I thought. Romney? HA. Hell Paul is not even looking as good as he used to. Considering he may do some deal to get Rand Paul on the VP list. America will fail unless the people wake up to what condition their country is in. I'd rather it not fail, that means hard times for Canada as well. But we have idiots in power and the next corrupt leaders have already been groomed to take up the reigns. Quote
