now... if you don't know about the impending U.S. budget sequestration... and what it particularly might mean for U.S. defense spending, see here:

well, hey now posturing Lockheed Martin, just what do you have to say? Oh my, is LockMart really prepared to enter into the U.S. election cycle. But, but... what might sequestration mean to the JSFail F-35!!!

NEWS FLASH

US Air Force disbands due to pressure by waldo.

"We've decided to play golf instead", claims Air Force spokesperson. "You're on your own."

you had an opportunity to speak to a real issue - U.S. defense cuts... one with the potential to significantly impact the JSFail program. Instead you throw up this kind of crapola and proceed into 2 more pages of... your best nothingness. Well done... well played!

you made the correlation, the following full system correlation... a correlation that... isn't! An integrated full system correlation that doesn't exist, that won't exist until, optimistically, per the latest, just weeks old, U.S. GAO report, "block 3.0 is delivered in 2015". Sorry to have rained on your puffed up, "Good timing too", best, hey?

don't be afraid of the U.S. GAO quote extract presented, 'Derek L'... accept it, relish it, embrace it! Recognize it for what it ultimately states/shows - that the waldo has, once again, put you into a babbling whirling dervish; an amazing feat considering your pants are at your ankles!

just answer the challenge repeatedly put to you... just answer it! Just explain what the following U.S. GAO report quote extract means in your 'Derek L' revisionist world, hey?

now, as is your way, you totally blew off a couple of my earlier posts that went into significant summary detail on the actual state of JSFail testing... not your manufactured, 'Derek L fluff & stuff'. Here's a most relevant related extract from one of those earlier JSFail (lack of) testing posts of mine... most apropos when dealing with, 'Derek L fluff & stuff'... wouldn't you say?

Here again, you’re purposely misinterpreting two post, one discussing the overall objectives of the F-35’s systems and a second post replying to the Porch Dog………Then refuse to back up your assertion that weapons testing won’t be carried out this summer on the F-35.……….You’ve stooped to a new low of intellectual dishonesty Waldo. For Shame :(

Odd...my buddy at Davis Monthan said the same thing. Must be an ongoing pun.

You know that old saying eh? Every finger you point, there’s three pointing right back at you...

there is no misinterpreting your own words as quoted back to you, several times now - like I said, sorry to rain on your, 'Derek L fluff & stuff™' parade!

you of such "intellectual honesty" you won't touch the U.S. GAO quote you've been repeatedly challenged to express upon! C'mon, what does that extract quote say... in your best revisionism, hey?

the only assertion I've made is that you improperly correlated two events, one presuming on the other... that you falsely linked presumed full system integration as a facet of your improper correlation. All the rest is just 'Derek L fluff & stuff™'.

Might as well be if the pilots refuse to fly them until the oxygen problem is resolved.

They are not refusing to fly them……….As demonstrated by the aircraft still flying.

you have the same opportunity... I'm particularly keen to read how you spin the LockMart massive layoff threat. Spin away, hey?

Where did I "presume full system integration"? Quote?

Why would I spin it? Isn’t that simply cause and effect?

simple cause and effect? Really? Nothing about the tea-party fueled GOP hot for spending cuts? Or is it just certain kinds of (non-defense related) cuts you're in favour of, hey? I've had numerous posts speaking to JSFail F-35 risk attachments related to potential U.S. defense cuts... of course, as is your way, you've just blown them all off. At some point Grover Norquist, apparently the guy actually running the U.S. government, will have his due and collect from your favoured bottomless pit U.S. defense spending. What... simply cause and effect? Really?

Not really. You're not taking him seriously because you're trolling him.

It seems like it is not happening often, but it is happening ..

Some of the nation's top aviators are refusing to fly the radar-evading F-22 Raptor, a fighter jet with ongoing problems with the oxygen systems that have plagued the fleet for four years.

At the risk of significant reprimand — or even discharge from the Air Force — fighter pilots are turning down the opportunity to climb into the cockpit of the F-22, the world's most expensive fighter jet.

The Air Force did not reveal how many of its 200 F-22 pilots, who are stationed at seven military bases across the country, declined their assignment orders. But current and former Air Force officials say it's an extremely rare occurrence.

As demonstrated by President Obama’s (Continued and expanded from Bush) change in focus on defence strategy to a return of “gunboat diplomacy”, the future metric, cuts and all, will see the focus shifted to greater emphasis on air and naval power, with the bulk of Damocles Sword falling on the army......As to my view, I agree with such a strategy and would welcome such targeted defence cuts within Canada, with said end point being a reduction in our regular army somewhere between 1/3rd and one ½ it’s current size in terms of personal.

That's not a retort. The article I posted indicates SOME pilots are refusing. You were wrong when you said that there were no pilots refusing to fly them. But we don't know the true numbers because the Air Force won't release those numbers.

Yet the F-22 is performing in airshows........

I'm commenting on your trolling. Waldo hasn't been trolling you. He's been trying to have a conversation and you guys have really just been baiting and mocking him when he's brought up valid points.

Esteemed member Waldo cut’s and pastes other members responses to edit the intent of said posts……Hardly the environment for a “healthy discussion”

Any "valid points" (imported from the U.S.) have been countered with the reality of firm contracts, continued development testing, and low-rate production. Are there any "valid points" to be offered with a truly Canadian context?

Indeed…….As I’ve said to others, including Waldo, actions speak louder than words……….Some garner their opinions based on blogs and what they’ve read in the media, and some from public information on the program coupled with the actions of the partner nations.

Surely if the Lightning II was a turkey, we’d see this made evident by partners leaving the program and we’d certainly not see additional nations expressing interest in joining said program………
