olp1fan Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 That's right, ctv the big kahuna of Canadian tv covers NFL games for shits and giggles. I wouldn't be saying football isn't in our culture in Saskatchewan, it's comparable to hockey out there. Hate to break it to you Canada is a country with only 35 million people. And hockey isn't as prestigious around the world as you want to believe. I'm pretty sure the grey cup being around for almost a hundred years means nothing either... Hockey is growing, but it's no football, NCAA basketball, or even baseball. The only league the NHL competes well against is the NBA. I'm Canadian ..do you think I give a shit if hockey isn't popular in australia or india let alone the U,S? I'm perfectly happy with hockey not being popular because it makes it that more special Quote

Otherwise you're just being a troll and will be reported as such. Boges Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) There's already a defacto thread about comparing sports. This thread is about Lord Tebow. BTW just as a side, unless proven otherwise, I doubt the NHL/Hockey is more popular than NBA/Basketball. The other major North American sport played all winter. Not making fun of Religion, but being light-hearted about it. Many of his wins do seem to be miraculous. Gotta be good to be lucky I suppose. Tim Tebow wins games for your sins. http://media.avclub.com/images/articles/article/66/66419/Tebowcard_JPG_627x325_crop_upscale_q85.jpg Quote

Shady Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 I think if Tebow spends the off season working hard on his footwork and throwing mechanics, he could be a pretty good NFL quarterback. Righ now he's really raw, and his throwing motion takes too long. Plus, it would really help if Denver actually had some talent around him. If he had a good TE to throw to as a saftey valve it would help immensely. Right now he's got a bunch of 3rd rate receivers to throw to, and no TE. Quote
sharkman Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Yeah, they need to get some upgrades in receivers and such. It would be great if Tebow can evolve, he's got oodles in the intangibles department but needs to become more well rounded. Quote

His wife apparently got tired of him sexing it up while on the road and she's divorcing him. No pre-nup, so she's gonna get at least half of everything. Is Tebow even married yet? Quote

sharkman Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Well, trouble is brewing. Tebow has gone off the script and they've scored 13 points in the first half! I don't think it bodes well as the defense is not exactly shutting down the Patriots. Quote
