Wow, I can't believe the microscope that Tebow is being put under.

Anyone who is famous is put under a microscope.

Some exacerbate this by discussion their religious beliefs, sex life, and pet causes in public.

Others don't.

If a believer demands that I, as a non-believer, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy. Flemming Rose (Dutch journalist)

My biggest takeaway from economics is that the past wasn't as good as you remember, the present isn't as bad as you think, and the future will be better than you anticipate. Morgan Housel http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2016/01/14/things-im-pretty-sure-about.aspx

It's funny in the article it mentions Tebow's reaction to the students not being able to do the "mass tebowing" at school and how he said they should submit to the authority that God has put above them. Which is actually a very Christian principle.

But even that is offensive to the writer. Tebow can do no right in some people's eyes.

So?

Don't read that writer if you don't like it.

I don't read that crap.

There are people within the media that are bigoted against religion just as there are in any other profession, and they are unhappy with Tebow and write about it.

You don't have the intellectual fortitude to be calling anyone a moron.

Even if we told you a person is a moron you still wouldn't be able to do it without us mentioning a pot and a kettle.

Christianity is all about redemption: Tewbow could be Tebowing in bathrooms across America (probably frequented by Republicans) and he'd be forgiven as long as he "just wins."

I wasn't aware that Tiger had religious leanings. At any rate, why do you think so little of Tebow. Do you not like Christians either?

Whats there to like about Christians?

That's like asking, "What's there to like about non-christians, or ex-JWs. Singling people out based on the religious angle shows you may have a chip on your shoulder.

That's great. But when you grow up to be an adult. You may want to start judging people as individuals.

why when I can judge them on their beliefs ..I'm not gonna judge them on what hockey team they like

I dig a lot deeper than that

Why does religion annoy you? I hope this is not based simply on your singular experience...

Of course it is. Sounds just like a racist. "I ain't never met a n***** worth anythin, so there ain't none."

not at all.. I'm not a dumbass, I can see what religion has done to the world and how it is used

like Ghandi said, I like your God but I don't like your christians your christians are so unlike your god

I'm paraphrasing of course, I don't know the exact quote

but I agree with it
