eyeball Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Just having a little fun. I figured you'd probably take it in the spirit it was intended. -k I bet a big fat serving of shaving cream pie would even more fun. guyser Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Speaking of which, does anyone still put cheese on their apple pie? Nippy old cheddar for the win. Recently had to explain this to Irish visitors. Quote

Mr.Canada Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) Pecan pie slightly warm with good quality vanilla ice cream. Just slightly melty over the warm pie. Now that's heavenly. Also I've always wanted to try cheese on apple pie but I always forget. sharkman Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 I'm tired of bargain brand ice cream. Vanilla, chocolate, whatever, it all sucks. Good ice cream is a real treat, but oddly enough I haven't had ice cream with pie in many years. Cheese, never. I won't judge or anytdhing though. Quote
guyser Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Cheese on apple pie? Really? Melted? Slices? Shredded? No not melted , just a slice of old cheddar on top. If the pie is hot, all the better. Stems from old tiomes, everyone would have cheese and nuts at the end of a meal to aid digestion. Kind of a British thing from my memory though. Give it a shot ! jefferiah Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 (edited) Cheese on apple pie? Really? Melted? Slices? Shredded? Not just for pie's sake.
