Jack Weber Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 The o-line had been pretty good up until tonight, but the Bombers smacked them around. -k Gotta say.. I like the Bummers about as much as I like the Argonauts, however, the Blew Bummer defence has been outstanding this year..So far... They're going to need that because there is no way Buck Pierce can make it through a season... 17-0...BC over Saskatchewan as I type... Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!

Shwa Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 Fred Stamps...Adarius Bowman...Greg Peach... The injury bug has hit the Eskimos...The next 4 to 6 weeks are going to be very telling... Yep. At the beginning of the Eski-Argo (?) game, one of the commentators made the same observation about depth. Now... if their second stringers can take advantage of the opportunity like the first stringers did this year... Quote

Now... if their second stringers can take advantage of the opportunity like the first stringers did this year... The problem with the Eskimo defence is that ,while they are very fast, they are also very small... They got exposed in the Argo game last week...I get the feeling the size issue will start to show up in the back half of the season... Add to that injuries at key skill positions, and a rising BC in the West, and Edmonton might be in for a rough ride...or is that roughride??? Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!

Well to be honest, I never expected them to be 5-1, so with the second best offence and second best defence, I'm good. Quote
kimmy Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 Fred Stamps is a huge loss. He might have been the league's MVP up to this point in the season. -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
Boges Posted September 6, 2011 Author Report Posted September 6, 2011 I wonder if it's OK to jump on Hamilton's bandwagon. I am closer to Steeltown than I am Toronto. Anyone who beats those effing Als is good in my book. Then again NFL starts this week so who gives a fuck. Quote

By the way,the next home game is against Edmonton in two weeks... Go here http://www.ticats.ca Edited September 8, 2011 by Jack Weber Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!

Uncle 3 dogs Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 "LOL" Got proof of that Shady? The "best athletes?" Oh wait, we are still waiting to hear about how the NFL combine prove that "NFL players" are something-something. Is there an update on that yet Shady? No? Didn't think so. You still don't know what you are talking about do you? So I am still waiting for you to prove your "facts." Why bother arguing with this guy? He's obviously not interested in anything not endorsed by the American NFL propaganda machine. That's his loss, not ours. Quote

Just look at the level of talent. You guys are basically denying science. Quote
Boges Posted September 20, 2011 Author Report Posted September 20, 2011 Actually Cleo Lemon might have been worse in the CFL than in the NFL. But yeah Cameron Wake is evidence that the best players go to the NFL. He was the best in the CFL so he made a move to the NFL. Quote

But yeah Cameron Wake is evidence that the best players go to the NFL. He was the best in the CFL so he made a move to the NFL. There have been NFL players who have come to the CFL and been unable to adapt to the Canadian game. Montreal brought a big buck QB up from the Rams for a ton of money back in the eighties. He was a bust. But that is not the norm. Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC

BubberMiley Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 Swagger this!!!! Fred Reid lost a step a long time ago and wasn't making the big plays anymore. They'll be fine without him. Now Hamilton fans just have to hope Kevin Glenn gets injured. Yeah but his back up,Carl Volny, blew his knee out last week also... And ol' Buckaroo is starting to look like the fragile Buckaroo we all knew would show up...Or should I say, show up with that glazed eye, concussed look? The Bummers did'nt score much with these guys, and now...Facing Montreal this weekend??? Why would Hamilton fans want Kevin Glenn to get injured??? We've seen the Quinton Porter show....It's not so good... Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!
BubberMiley Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Why would Hamilton fans want Kevin Glenn to get injured??? Because he's a mediocre quarterback who inevitably chokes when it matters. You'd be better off with Michael Bishop---Oh! The Bummers signed him to be their fourth string guy today. Shady Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Is that what CFL fans do? You all make up names for the other teams, and call them that instead of their actual names? I'm just wondering. Quote
