Black Dog Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) Based on Shady's performance here, it's time for a new definition of Palin Derangement Syndrome: a condition common to Palin supporters that causes them to abandon any pretense of logic, rationality, intellectual honesty and, ultimately, sanity whenever the subject of Palin is broached. Hopefully as ignorant as a group internet posters that claim to be 100% sure that there were no security concerns facing Sarah Palin a few weeks back. I'm going to pull this nugget out because it's a classic example of moving the goalposts. Shady, you were the one claiming a direct link between the PA man who Ma and Pa Palin have a restraining order against and the cancellation of the Colorado engagement. It's pretty clear at this point, based on the evidence AW and Bitsy have provided that there was no link there. Now you're arguing that no one can say say there wasn't a threat to Palin, which, on it's face may be true, but is also completely disingenuous. Given you are the one making the claim that there was a specific threat, the onus is on you to prove it (which, to your credit, you tried to do here with this rather sorry display of straw-grasping that has flamed out rather spectacularly). How do you know he, or somebody like him wasn't an issue during the time of the proposed event? Prove it. Edited March 10, 2011 by Black Dog Quote
