It would be interesting to see what you had to say if you addressed the issues that people actually raise, but I understand why you don't. It's because you aren't stupid, and you realize that your comments are all over the place, and know that by actually directly answering a question such as the one I posed, you'd have to expose yourself.

So you are suggesting a young Nigerian Muslim fellow who's father was worried he was being radicalized and spent a lengthy time in Yemen, volunteered to blow himself up so some westerners could sell a bunch of machines. Or are you suggesting that Al Queda is in the scanner business and duped some schmuck into blowing himself up so they could sell some machines?

It's an opportunity that sure as hell won't be passed up. Those machines are going to be installed within 2 months in many locations here in Canada. Some things have to be rushed I guess.

We don't need more technology, we need people who are trained to notice certain patterns and behaviour. We need more intelligent people doing the intelligence. We need expertise in screening. I have not flown much myself, but, the ones doing the screening did not really seemed that interested in their work. Granted this was just in Canada. I have not flown out of Canada yet. My next trip I plan to head overseas.

This stuff sure created a stir. Just like another guy at Newark who dissapeared and some bottles of honey at another airport.

I am reminded of the TSA security officer who abandoned his post on Sunday at the NJ airport. The video clip showed him sauntering off with his hands in his pockets. The idiot should be fired on the spot....

They are simply not paid enough to care about their jobs really. These are the guys doing the screening making a couple bucks more than minimum wage. I could barley live off 15/hour (CND mind you)

I'd hire ex cops to fill these roles and a wage increase. If someone is willing to fork out 200 grand for a body scanner, they can afford to pay a good wage to qualified people who will actually do the job required.

Of course the airline industry would either go bankrupt or those cheap flights to the Barbadoes wont be so cheap/affordable any more. Hey! Maybe thats what Al-Queada has in mind as their long term plan. Nudge! Nudge! Wink! Wink!
