What is really significant is that American-movie goers nowadays like a lot more Hollywood catastrophe fictions where everything is destroy than when it is only one of their main cities that is wipe out.

The are operating in reverse - sex now = death rather that life (guns and sex) are the primary stimuli...also - instead of being a creative nation - the have become de-creationists - because those that are truely creative (gifted) are shunned... I circulated a screen play a while back - good piece called "The Purpose" - everyone loved it - Shawn Penns reader adored it but said there is a policy - a governmental policy - one that keeps the death culture going that a FEW thrive on - so it was a no go - privately they admitted it was an actors movie and brilliant ---- What happened is that the piece was passed about and cannibalized - from one good movie they got enough ideas to make ten bad ones....oh well....... Merchant class is a bitch...and merchants have taken over - barbaric crooks who dispise what is left of the old aristocrats - who they drove into poverty...the love us - and need us - but hate us.

To pull the protectorate American blanket off the heads of the Israelis would cause a panic in their leadership - It would be like abandoning the little gangsters with the machine guns they threaten to use..but never have to because big brother is holding a cannon on their behalf. Once the cannon is put aside - all hell would break loose and the bandits might go nuclear...once that starts the real holocaust begins....I have often thought that once the anglo American merchant class totally screw up the system through arrogant ineptness - they will point the blaming finger towards the Jews as per usual - BUT- that won't happen because the Americans hold the key to the nukes...and just let the world believe that Israel has the power - it's a shame that part of the deal with Israeli henchmanship it to take the fall - to take the blame - and that is what they get paid the big bucks for..

You think really lowly of the Israeli leadership, I must say. They did just fine before they had American support, and will continue to do just fine should that support be removed in the future. Israel is the only nation that has nukes that faces challenges to its existence on a regular basis, and has shown full restraint in using them or even overtly threatening to use them. There is no chance that they would "go nuclear" except as the uttermost last resort in a war they were losing terribly, just as the US or any western nation would. Also... "real holocaust"... as opposed to what?

Gonna ignore the nonsensical rambling about anglos and the "merchant class".

Don't bet on that! This notion of "last resort" is more inapplicable for the Jewish culture than for the western cultures. To understand why, you have to learn about what is a reflexive determination. In a nutshell, when someone is terrorized, he becomes a terrorist out of a purely moral stance.

I like that you can open Finnegan's Wake to any point and get the drunken dreams of an Irishman. You have your fascist Zizek for that, I guess.

I refer to Zizek because he writes in English; the best references are in French.

Montreal is a hub for computer-generated terror movie.

You never cease to amaze.

Bullpuckey...now who is the dishonest liar?

i thought it was already established that you made a mistake.

either your pride is getting in the way of admitting the truth or your memory.

let us recap and see who is being dishonest:

- i made a comment about women's right to vote

- you decided to falsely claim that palestinian women are not able to vote

- i corrected you and you were taught that palestinian women are able to vote

here are the quotes:

dub: some movements take time. if my math is 'good', women were not able to vote for a lot longer than 60 years.

bc2004: Tell us what else Palestinian woman still can't do...you walked right into that one.

you want to keep denying the obvious? go ahead. it's your right to look ridiculous like DoP does quite often.

I think I have discovered the root of your problem....you read what you wish into responses, on purpose. My response was not in your narrow context concerning suffrage, but in the broader context of the oppression Palestinian women face in their own "nation", regardless of Israel's actions.

The larger point stands...historically, other groups have prevailed in achieving their objectives.....Palestinians...not so much.

Voting for what in such refugee camps anyway?

lols.

okay buddy.

we all make mistakes. people will think less of you if you keep denying it rather than just admitting you made a mistake.

it's a good thing you don't care what people think, eh? *wink wink*

Then that means people must think very highly of you (and your mistakes). :P

You're dodging the question.....Tell us what else Palestinian woman still can't do

huh?

i have never said that palestinian women have it good or their rights are up to par. it's just that they have the opportunity to vote and you said otherwise and i corrected you.

distracting from the point that you made a mistake is called dodging. i already told you that there is no need to drag this any further before, yet you keep digging your own hole. you just make yourself look bad.

Here is why we can say that in Islam, women have more real freedom of choice than western women:

Just curious in Islam are women owned by men, do they really have any freedoms ?

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.
