bush_cheney2004 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 It is a forum, not a kindergarten. All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in the sand pile at school. These are the things I learned: Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands and stick together. Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: the roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that. Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup - they all die. So do we. And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned - the biggest word of all - LOOK. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

capricorn Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 I certainly believe 9/11 needs to be properly investigated, and that it has not been yet. That in itself is suspicious. What's even more suspicious is they haven't yet got to the bottom of Roswell yet. Is it too much to ask if we could resolve one suspicion at a time? Then, there's the Kennedy assassination..... segnosaur Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Notice the similarity in between "police" and "politics". The word 'politics' is actually derived from a combination: Poly (meaning many) and Ticks (blood sucking parisite) Quote
Oleg Bach Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 The word 'politics' is actually derived from a combination: Poly (meaning many) and Ticks (blood sucking parisite) Actors were the skinny nerds in high school - politicians were the pimple faced nerds that lusted for power back in public school and finally found a way to get it - politics..a game that no one else of any substance wanted to play - they are the garbage pickers in a heap called status...and NONE understand the term servant - let alone public servant. benny Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 9/11 may well be the result of cynics being overly annoyed by too many of their own kind. Quote
