The headline is spin. In the text:

Overall, almost two in three Americans, 64 percent, said they have confidence that Obama's economic policies will improve the economy, but that number has dropped since he took office and began to implement his ideas. Before his inauguration, 72 percent were confident that his economic agenda would lead to a recovery. Now, after two months of vigorous debate about his stimulus package and ambitious budget blueprint, confidence has decreased by 13 points among independents and by a similar amount among Republicans.

IOW, Obama is running up against the real world.

Obama's fake approval numbers.

The Washington Post - ABC News poll samples 36% Democrats to 25% Republicans. As for the new NYT/CBS poll, it samples 39% Democrats to 23% Republicans.

I can make Charles Manson poll well with those ridiculous sampling methods. Good'ol liberal media.

You clearly don't have the slightest idea of how surveys work. It's a random sample of 1000 people. Just because there are currently more people who identify as Democrats than Republican doesn't mean the survey is fixed. It means the survey is accurate.

But I guess in your world, if something doesn't say what you want it to say, it's biased.

Which is why it's showing the true face of america. A large proportion of population still deeply ingrained in the policies of Bush/ Cheney and resistant to change.

No one is resistant to change they are just resistant to sharing the common wealth - look at the bailouts - under Obama - and look at the billions of dollars made by the Bushites with this war on terror bull shit. As for our dear friend Obama and his approval being up - it is the approval of his wifes wardrobe...and the approval of the perfect smile with no substance that is up - totally superfical and unchanged...wait for a couple of years when Obama sends off ten thousand poor blacks to die in some lucrative campaign..with the promise of a "free education" the ultimate education and wisdom - death! Same old same old - nothing will change untill the average American can handle the truth - and in a nation where they dispise the truth it is not likely going to happen soon -- in fact they have reversed the polarity of reality -were liars are called truthful and trusted and those that tell the truth are called liars or "truthers". I have no faith in what is to come.

The Most Polarizing President

Who has been the most polarizing new president of recent times? Richard Nixon? Ronald Reagan? George W. Bush?

No, that honor belongs to Barack Obama. According to the Pew Research Center, the gap between Republican and Democratic approval ratings for Bush a few months into his first term was about 51 percentage points. For Obama, this partisan gap stands at 61 points. Obama has been a unifier, of sorts. He has united Democrats and united Republicans -- against each other.

Washington Post

So much for the so-called first "post-partisan" President.

That just seems to indicate that Democrats aren't as bad as being poor losers as Republicans.

And you would be a fine example of what poor losers they can be.

  • 1 year later...

Obama approval rating now down to 41%!

Oh no think of the Senate races....... Wait PPP posted today that in all the swing races they are following the Dems are up 1-7 points over last month. Ohhhhh I get it just because people don't like Obama doesn't mean they are crazy enough to vote republican.

Know what is also funny I went to gallup's website and their tracking poll doesn't show these numbers at all.
