Perhaps this is some insight as to how his Administration will behave during future problems.YouTube America is a gigantic system. Did you really expect change when they changed their spokesman? The less idealist and mature mind will eventually understand this system and deal with it approriately. Obama was elected via the oldest tool of the trade used in the political forum - emotion! Human beings are rarely manipulated through logic..because it is not possible to fudge the numbers that must always add up...if you know what I mean - simply "Hey that doesn't make sense". Where as the emotion of fear creates wishful and deperate thinking. Obama had one damning statement that was so simple but put his policy right our their for all to see..It consisted of "We must be better prepared for the NEXT conflict". That says it all - buisness as usual. America has gotten so stupid over the last 30 years that they have finacially become war depended..addicted to generating profits through the most base means. He plans to continue generating a very very good living for those that installed him- and forget the black thing - He will be more than willing to send of the poor blacks to die. Remember he is not of the slave blood - he decends from slave traders and warriors. Quote

You guys need to get over the fact that he is the new President. The problem is, that it's not his job to tell journalists how to do their jobs. And it's very arrogant and condescending for him to cut someone off, and tell them to ask a different question. Asking questions is one of the only ways we have to hold politician's feet to the fire. My response to him, if I was the reporter, would have been "Sir, please don't tell me how to do my job." Quote

OddSox Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 (edited) To be fair, if Obama had been advised not to comment by the Justice League of America....there was little he could do... His response seemed perfectly reasonable to me. The alternative was to let the reporter run off at the mouth for another five minutes, say 'No Comment - Next Question'. Apparently, some journalists need to be told how to do their jobs - it's not too bright to waste your time (as well as everybody else's including the President) asking questions you know are not going to be answerable. BC_chick Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 (edited) Is this the change we've been waiting for? I love it, if I remotely allude to American politicians or political system in any of my arguments Bush_Cheney is quick to point to out, every time, that I'm a Canadian. Shady, OTOH, even uses the pronoun WE in discussing US politics, and not a word about Shady's Canadianness from BC2004. I guess the only time Canadians have no business talking US politics according to BC2004 is if he disagrees... Edited December 17, 2008 by BC_chick Quote It's kind of the worst thing that any humans could be doing at this time in human history. Correct...BC Chick has confused relevance with free speech, particularly with respect to American elections. maybe he is one of those people that believe just because you are on the net - that there are no boarders? Take note that he can use the royal "we" ,seeing his is a virtual American diplomat representing his people. Not quite....I have adamantly maintained that I am an army of 1 (out of 300,000,000). There is a reason why Americans outnumber Canadians 9 to 1. Oleg Bach Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 You cheer me up - thanks. My point is that very few people go on the quest of no return. You have to have a powerful desire and daring - willing to risk all for enlightenment - most men and woman are fearful and will never take the leap - once you enter the light - there is no going back....The up side is - you can enter into the darker regions that are the human mind - and leave at will - now that's power........sure wish that more people would be brave.....better go back to painting and finish the project for the daughter - got to make her look good for the upstarts.
