NW-You would feel most at home in the Northwest region. You advocate a large degree of economic and personal freedom. Your neighbors include folks like Ayn Rand, Jesse Ventura, Milton Friedman, and Drew Carey, and may refer to themselves as "classical liberals," "libertarians," "market liberals," "old whigs," "objectivists," "propertarians," "agorists," or "anarcho-capitalist."

I'd personally consider myself a libertarian conservative, however usually if asked I'll simply state that I'm a libertarian to help reduce confusion.

My ideal idea of a politcal party is one of benevolent dictatorship...kind of a king thing. All these other systems have been tried and failed - might be interesting to go back to the old days - Most assume that the word King or Queen means abuser..not always so - we either crown Harper or Iggy and get it over with. King Harper - has a nice ring to it - King Ignatieff....ooooooooooooooooooh sounds sinister..but sort of saintly

Whenever I hear the name 'Ignatieff' I recall the villian from numerous Flashman novels. Looks a bit like I imagined him, too.

-----------------------------------------

Big G: Why are you still writing Flashman - is it for the money, is it because there are still more papers to discover, or is it an obligation to the reader?

George MacDonald Fraser: It's good fun. I suppose it's an obligation to the reader, it pays well, but chiefly because I like doing it. It's great fun researching it, it's great fun writing it...

While we're at it...

Which M*A*S*H character are you?

Check for correlations.

ATTENTION! ALL PERSONNEL!

You are

Captain Benjamin Franklin 'Hawkeye' Pierce

Well, you're not really him; you just resemble this fictional character. A bit.

Let's get that straight before you start drinking home-made gin and operating on people.

A true centralist treats all political bodies as having a left and right side - a left and right hand. The centralist is the brain for both. The exert control over the whole body..and that is a good thing.

Interesting theory. Well it gives new meeting to why politicians are such jerk offs.

HaHa. How interesting it is to "quiz" myself every so often. The Moral Poltical quiz made me out to be a "capital republican" as part of a broader "moderate conservative" scope which sounds about right. It also cited Nixon as president. Interestingly enough, the poltical compass site found me to be slightly leaning towards the left albeit almost completely in between authoritarianism and Libertarianism. My "politopia" is centerville which also sounds quite right. I am still a bit surprised at the compass quiz though.

I took the test and came out as a Libertarian. No surprise there, I detest government because it is wholly inadequate to problem resolution. Our current system is inflexible and inefficient as well as out dated. The mechanism for constitutional reform is absolutely useless.

What I would like is a direct democracy, based on a republican system.

Looks like I veered from the Democrat/Liberal ideologies I used to espouse in my younger years. Mind you, our Liberal Party has also veered from the ideology I used to support. We've grown apart.

I don't really agree with my economic score. I agree with much of the spending in principle, but if it costs too much, I don't want it. The government has to work within a budget after all.
