Great piece by CNN on ACORN's sttempted voter fraud. Must see!

And

1 VOTER, 72 REGISTRATIONS

'ACORN PAID ME IN CASH & CIGS'

CLEVELAND - A man at the center of a voter-registration scandal told The Post yesterday he was given cash and cigarettes by aggressive ACORN activists in exchange for registering an astonishing 72 times, in apparent violation of Ohio laws

And

Indianapolis achieves 105% voter registration.

According to STATSIndiana, In 2007, Indianapolis/Marion County had an estimated population of 876,804. Of that number 232,607 were below 18 years of age, for a total of 644,197 people in Marion County/Indianapolis 18 or over and thus eligible to vote. (Indiana allows felons to vote as long as they are not incarcerated).

So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!

Missouri officials suspect fake voter registration

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Officials in Missouri, a hard-fought jewel in the presidential race, are sifting through possibly hundreds of questionable or duplicate voter-registration forms submitted by an advocacy group that has been accused of election fraud in other states.

Charlene Davis, co-director of the election board in Jackson County, where Kansas City is, said the fraudulent registration forms came from the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. She said they were bogging down work Wednesday, the final day Missourians could register to vote.

Las Vegas ACORN office raided in voter-fraud probe

LAS VEGAS — Nevada authorities seized records Tuesday from a group they accused of submitting fraudulent voter-registration forms — including for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys.

According to its national Web site, ACORN has registered 1.3 million people nationwide for the Nov. 4 election. It has encountered complaints of fraud stemming from registration efforts in Wisconsin, North Carolina, New Mexico, Michigan, Ohio and Missouri

Wow, who knew that the Dallas Cowboys were going to Nevada to cast their ballots? This looks like a nation wide effort, to steal the election for Barack Obama. It looks like he's taken Chicago-style politics, and applied it to the rest of the country. Hope and Change!

IF this is true then its wrong, just like it was wrong when the friends of GW who own the software of the computer voting polls, gave and took away votes away from GW and Kerry. I wonder how many years the Republicans have had this advantage over the Dems??

God damn it Topaz your thinking small potatoes here. Every election for the last 12 years could be suspect. Fuck it is suspect now this just confirms some of it. Stop with the Republican and Democrat horseshit and realize that from top to bottom. This country has lost its fucking soul over the two party bullshit. And guess what were losing our Democracy over it. The question is not who started it. The question is who is going to fucking end it.

I suspect a lot of people feel the same way.

The ACORN story is a good way to blame the economic crisis on poor black people, but somehow I don't think that's going to work among anyone but the most committed of the Republican base.

I love the part when Cuomo admits that the new rules will increase defaults and loan losses for the banks.

Great post! If anyone's enjoying the current economic reality, then they'll love Obama-economics. Brought to you by socialist/liberal politicies that focus on good intentions, rather than common sense. Obama's economic philosopy is "fairness" over logic. See Rev. Wright, see Bill Ayers, see ACORN.

This sickening issue is what's at the heart of special interest groups in America such as Acorn. It's pathetic, and I hope this election cycle can be rescued from cheaters and slimy operators who offer cigarettes for a registration.

After stealing two elections, the Republicans are afraid that the opposition may outdo them this time around. McCain and Palin have turned off so many people that they are imploding from within and they are going to be buried by such an avalanche that any voter fraud committed by community organizations will have no impact on the final result -- a Republican wipeout!

In case any Republicans want to breathe life into this ACORN story again, here's John McCAin in his previous incarnation as a moderate Republican, attending an ACORN conference and suck up for some votes!

Mickey Mouse tried to register to vote in Florida this summer. Orange County elections officials rejected his application, which was stamped with the logo of the nonprofit group ACORN

I guess we know why the Democrats tried to land billions for ACORN during the bailout negotiations. It takes plenty of money to engage in country wide voter fraud on a monumental basis. BTW, they're now under investigation in 13 states and counting!

The rally will feature Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) as the headline speaker along with elected officials, immigrants and key local and national leaders. Sen. McCain is one of the chief sponsors of the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act; bipartisan, comprehensive immigration reform legislation introduced last Congress and scheduled for consideration by the Senate in the coming weeks. A similar rally with Sen. McCain is planned for New York City on February 27.

...

The rally in Miami is being sponsored by the New American Opportunity campaign (NAOC) in partnership with ACORN, Catholic Legal Services - Archdiocese of Miami, Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center, Florida Immigrant Coalition, Miami Dade College, People for the American Way/Mi Familia Vota en Acción, Service Employees International Union, and UNITE HERE.

But it's all Obama's fault, right??

I'm not getting your response. Are you denying that ACORN is involved in massive voter fraud, and is currently under investigation in some 13 states?

You don't get the response because you are looking for something that is not there. What I am denying is your single'ing out Obama when McCain had meetings/events with ACORN as well. So you started out this thread by tying it to Obama, because of your bias against him (don't deny it). And because of your bias against him, you don't even realize McCain was part of the process with ACORN.

So, no I am not denying that ACORN has it's problems, but you are trying to shove it into Obama's face when you know both are to blame. We can revisit your opening post if you want, so if you want to blame Obama for this mess, you know you are going to loose.

The Mickey Mouse Club here still hasn't figured out that it's not voter fraud until someone takes an invalid registration form and their identification that they are "Mickey Mouse" before a fraudulent vote can be cast.

On the subject of voter fraud, here's how the Republicans do it: this BBC report examines cases in New Mexico, Michigan and Colorado where Republican officials have removed as many as one in five residents from the voter rolls. In Michigan, the company in charge of evicting homeowners after they have been foreclosed, is also the host of the John McCain headquarters, and surprisingly, the people who have been foreclosed and evicted, are also taken off of the voter rolls.

The report has an interview with David Iglesias -- who you might recall was one of the Federal Attorneys fired by Alberto Gonzales -- all because he did not find any merit to voter fraud allegations that the Bush Administration wanted him to prosecute.

In Ohio, during the 2004 election, voters in white suburbs had an average wait time of 15 minutes at the polling stations, whereas black voters in inner city neighbourhoods had to wait four hours because of the shortage of voting machines and Republican officials making frequent challenges at the polling stations in black neighbourhoods.

So who is guilty of vote fraud, the Democrats, or the Party that successfully blocked more than three million votes from being cast in the 2004 election?

Officials: FBI investigates ACORN for voter fraud

WASHINGTON (AP) - The FBI is investigating whether the community activist group ACORN helped foster voter registration fraud around the nation before the presidential election. A senior law enforcement official confirmed the investigation to The Associated Press on Thursday.

A second senior law enforcement official says the FBI was looking at results of recent raids on ACORN offices in several states for any evidence of a coordinated national scam

ACORN is NOT involved in massive voter fraud, but rather registration irregularities which are being investigated. Most of the irregularities were reported to the authorities by ACORN itself. Voter fraud does not occur until someone, Mickey Mouse perhaps, tries to vote illegally.

That's right, they haven't had a chance to commit actual fraud yet as they did last election.
