There is no more accountability, you can be as fat as your want.....check some of those navy boys out....we were doing some Amphibious training in Halifax onboard one of their frigates using ribs to get to shore, and their own navy guys would say, don't get behind this guy he barely fits through the hatch ways, well over 350 lbs....that was years ago...... we use to have a program we called piggy parade, after 4 pm that group got another 1 hour of extra physical PT because they failed their BMI testing or failed to keep up on a run or other BN PT, can't do that anymore, can't call someone out publicly or privately for their lack fitness....same goes for basic discipline, a lot of SNRNCOs are afraid to call soldiers out because of the consequence's all it takes is for one accusation to be leveled and your career is basically halted....even if proven innocent....So things slide....lots of things...and trust me there are enough of these losers willing to do just that....

I'm not disputing that, however NATO's economies are not set up for war, or serious military campaign, they lack military industrial complex's that are on the same scale as Russia's...Want a 5 th generation fighter jet there are currently very limited choices...and production lines are full for many years from now, look at our purchase of F-35's so while we are rich we are not producing enough war materials....atlest not to scale. or what we would need in time for a major conflict.... The fact that NATO could easily overwhelm Russia but decides not to is a red flag when they talk about the importance of not letting Ukraine fall to the Russians...but give Ukraine only what is needed to maintain life support... It is a start, but we should have more than one air force base in the Arctic, we need to have boots on the ground, Rangers are the best you can have in regards to survival in artic conditions, but there is a need for fighting troops that can patrol, and act in arctic conditions... and we need more than 4 ice breakers capable of arctic ice...2 will be armed....2 will not be....again it's a start.. but once you take into account breakdowns , regular maintenance, length of patrols, can't keep those crews out there all year.... Canada has regulated arctic defence to our reserves, which kind of tells us how important our artic defence is and if our regular force boys are starving for manpower and equipment you can just imagine how bad off our reserves are...Canada need to get serious about the arctic, and provide regular force troops ( army, air force, and navy)with serious training in arctic conditions..Right now NATO QRF force for any arctic force or operation is the US and UK, note no mention of Canada sad really....

The Americans are concerned their deaths have almost reached 100,000 per year, and Canada is responsible for 1 % of that number...are we a narco state i don't think anyone is saying that but then again it is a liberal tactic to lie... Putin has plenty of choices, it is the why, when , where nobody knows what he is thinking or what his plans are , one thing is for sure, Russia is still a large threat to NATO or NATO would be putting troops into Ukraine as we speak...on top of a strong conventional army, they still have vast quantities of chemical , bio, and nuclear arsenals..

I know what my point is, it's you that are having issues with it. I have been making the same point for over 8 months now, during that time Russia has lost on average 1200 to 1500 troops per day....and it has been going on like this well over a year...So i ask you a week a month , a couple of months a whole year of the same thing happening over and over again a pattern emerges...I 've ask this question many times, Do you think they care how much men they have lost, and what of their actions shows you that ? And in your mind where is that threshold, do you think they are close to it ? and what of their actions tell you that ? They are close to that mark with loosing 1,000,000 men already if they have not already past it, do you see them pausing or slowing down or changing things up...So explain to me if vlad is not accepting these losses without even blinking why has he not done anything....or paused or started to talk about peace or showed any sign of anything except doing the same thing expecting a different result... I've already said that Russian have never cared about casualties, in any conflict they have been involved with....and we in the west have much different cultural ideas of what is expectable and what is not in regards to loss of men and equipment. And yet i see no changing of any tactics or modes of operation, they still produce the same manpower loss day after day how much longer can he sustain these losses....well when he runs out of men and women...Thats not my opinion that is what historically to date we have seen so far.... His finances have been hurting for some time now, and yet no changes to how this conflict is doing, and their economy is not the same as ours , the state owns the resources, the state owns the manufacturer's facility. it does not cost the same as the west when they build a tank or ammo etc...and from what i heard recently they are now breaking into their gold reserves, how much longer they can last,well beyond my pay grade...but i do know it is not going to stop any time soon, not today not tomorrow... The objective is not to capture all of Ukraine...they have already said that, mind you they have said a lot of things....but we do not know what Putin's objectives are in this conflict... They have already won the war of information....why is the west so hesitant on giving Ukraine the materials they need to stop Russia or even push them back....why is it the aid that NATO has given is not enough to really effect the situation that much...Because NATO does not want to get drawn into the conflict, and they don't want to upset putin...unless you have another opinion i'm all ears... He introduces his idea for a carbon tax replacement, he is going to tax manufactures or large polluters as he calls them...then use those tax dollars to provide incentives to citizens to buy low emitting appliances, installation of your home, and some other items, they all seem pretty small incentives, nothing like replacing heating oil furnaces, or heat pumps. When the interviewer ask him you don't think these big polluters will just add these taxes to the price of the things they produce.... His answer was NO these big polluters don't make items the average consumer buys...like steel , how much steel did you but lately...i thought this was odd, a lot of products we buy have steel in them, from cars to toasters, to homes, and if they are being charged more for steel then yes it is going to trickle down to us the consumer... He goes on to say these new taxes on polluters are going to make our economy more competitive...I like to here how, i mean i has not made Canada more competitive during Justins reign, it has the opposite effect.
