First off no ones job at SNC are at risk, That comes rom the CEO of SNC if you have not been watching the news lately, even if they are charged and convicted, SNC is still entitled to bid and receive contracts through huge loop holes in the new law, such as SNC still holds many DND contracts and if it is a matter of National security SNC is still fair game...There are other reasons and loop holes as well they did not go into a whole lot of detail but hey this law was written by politicians for big business, not lawyers for citizens...so they left lots of loop holes.... Once again they can not leave they HQ , because of some banking agreement they have...So no moving the HQ for quit sometime....That was all a LIBERAL LIE....

That has not been proven in any way, JWR has not confirmed she said any of that...as CTV has said this might be another attempt to make her look bad, coming from the liberal caucus....or it just fell off the liberal bullshit truck....

This is what I find so confusing ….this liberal attitude, most liberals are pissed that a phone conversation was taped...and could not give a flying F#### about the content of the conversation, which reinforces the fact she was pressured, clarifying one more liberal lie...."she was not pressured in any way the liberal gang of thugs have said....along why all the rest of the lies that have been proven to be just that lies....and still liberals can not see any of the wrong doing, continue to swallow what ever kool aid Trudeau is pumping out..." and then have the balls to lecture the rest of us what is right and wrong with this crises. Nothing wrong took place the liberals say...and yet Brisson hung up his boots, then Trudeaus number one man quits for no reason, then the number one public servant packs it in, along with one minister...all of them were on the money train, at the top of their careers , had many more years ahead of them...and they just decide to quit and we are suppose to just over look all that and not ask why? not even question the who, where, when, etc etc...

Not even sure where this comes from.. but more than likely there has been some, just as I'm assuming there has been some convicted of crimes, or have carried out crimes here in Canada... As if police are not busy enough chasing bad guys, white supremacist, and now illegal immigrants. The same amount it costs to police antifa What point are you trying to make here... -
I think egghead hit the nail on the head, to many Canadians have picked their parties long ago, and regardless of who is at the helm they will recklessly vote the way they have always....On the other hand a lot of liberals still can not see what Justin and company have done nothing wrong...everything is coming up rainbows and unicorns...Canada has gone a long time since a charismatic , knowledgeable leader showed up one that knows how to govern, when to act in the best interest of the country, and when to act on popular ideas. If Canadians can not pick the best man for the job, then they fall back on their party line....and for most it is Liberal, or Conservative.

What a crock of shit....if turkey could not build roads then that was turkeys chioce....the west did not tell you no more roads.....Lets remember it was Turkey that wanted to join NATO and the western alliance for it's own protection....One day when you and your country grows up, your country can stand up and own it's own history....Frankly NATO would be better off without turkey -

Just one question, how does one check local police depts. when they have been destroyed by conflict such as Syria, how does one do a proper back ground check when these individuals say they have no paper work, such as pass port or valid ID, how does one process all these security checks in refugee camps in the middle of no where, with out intra net, and poor phone comms…. So a terrorist operating in Syria with no criminal record on inter pol, the US, or any other euro country , who claims he has lost his papers, how is he processed....these are questions that the Canadian military pers asked when assisting in processing Syrian refugees in refugee camps...did I mention they were on a time constraint as well to met Justin deadlines....Answer they is no way to properly vet them, except through a one on one interview …. -

And it would be if there was not such a huge deficit of infra structure in this country, being held back for lack of funding..Hard to build it and get all the benefits from it if one can not afford to build it in the first place, I think that would place it in the burden category would it not. -

That would depend on what source you use, these source say different, the Average Median income in Canada is over $70,000, says census, meaning both incomes equals 70,000...much less than your avg being 51,000, which would drive the median income well over 100 k per average houshold income.... I can you this the average income in New Brunswick does not even come close to 51 k a year...you would be hard pressed to find any of the average incomes any where in the Maritimes... https://www.macleans.ca/economy/median-income-in-canada-is-over-70000-says-census/ https://globalnews.ca/news/3828447/canada-middle-class-income-inequality/ Over half of Canadians are $ 200.00 shy of not being able to pay their bills....I'm pretty sure they are not making 51,000.00 a year.... https://globalnews.ca/news/3434447/over-half-of-canadians-are-200-or-less-away-from-not-being-able-to-pay-bills/ So I'll ask the question again, it takes immigrant 12 years to make what the average Canadian makes, how are they filling the gaps to survive, are they on some kind of governmental assistance like a lot of other Canadians....considering over 1/2 of Canadians are only 200 dollars shy of not being able to pay their bills.... -

I guess 25 to 30 bil is not a burden on our economy....and what do immigrants do if they don't earn as much as the avg Canadian for 12 years, which in NB is not a lot are you saying they are not on welfare or government assistance.... -

Took this from your post actually it says 12 years to reach the average earnings of a average Canadian. according to the stats listed below well over 21 k will be 65 or over within that 12 years, with another 35 to 40k looking at retirement at age 55 or older....nearly 1/5 of your immigrants are aged out before your 12 year mark, not even counting how many timed out immigrants are allowed under other programs, like reunification with other family...so your looking at well over 50 to 60 k a year we are adding to the population https://www.statista.com/statistics/443305/international-migrants-in-canada-2014/ Canada has settlement programs for new immigrants, which are a good way to jumpstart a new life in Canada. But these programs are for a very short period of time. Going to school is not free for immigrants, which sounds like what you're insinuating. Well here in NB Syrian refugees and immigrants do receive free language training, along with government sponsored programs that allow immigrants bring up their qualifications to Canadian standards, there are other programs as well... I can handle criticism , but thats not what you offered here... -

Why is it that Immigration seems to be the end all be all answer to all our troubles.....I say bullshit ...It is not the only solution, there are many out there, I think massive immigration is the wrong chioce...for several reasons, Todays immigration are not all about bringing in healthy able bodied people, able to work in the jobs Canadians think they are above, Lets add to the equation that most of these immigrant's have families, older parents, older uncles and aunt's, they want to come over as well....That most do not have the skills or equivalent training standards that are required for immediate job placement, or to be able to produce a plus to our economy at the start, resources are needed to provide education, and language training, etc etc... Some on here say that more immigrant that come drags our economy forward , to a point , by forcing more housing, food, resources etc...some say more income tax, but I think it has already been proven by Justin and company that the average Canadian does not pay a whole lot in income taxes....so there is a net plus....which would be there if it was filled by Canadians or immigrants. But there is also a net minus such as they also add to higher costs of homes, rents, more infra structure, more Medical usage, etc, Immigration in this country cost Canadian tax payers 26 to 30 bil a year, that figure is based on 250 k people, not 350 k....so this expenditure is only going to grow every year....and according to your own research it takes the average immigrant 12 years to produce the same amount as the average Canadian....WOW...takes a lot of time to grow an immigrant that produces a net plus to the country.... Instead of addressing all your issues with immigrants, why not address the problems that are the cause....Labor shortages could be slowed in not totally fixed by giving incentives to the next generation about to enter the work force...Such as discounts on education or by providing free education at the cost of perhaps working the same amount of years as you education took in areas of the country where these shortages are...ie medical trades could be sent any where in the country where there is a need....you could do this with any job that is struggling to provide enough trained people ….some nations already do this... You could also create policy for people that are on long term welfare or unemployment, that they take retraining or move to the new job, perhaps some kind of assistance for all that. What about providing a incentive for Canadians to have more children....I mean we currently pay out 30 plus billion dollars each year for immigration , that amount of funding could fund a several programs, and I'm just guess here , a much larger family allowance, free child care, massive tax cuts, it only takes some imagination to create an incentive that will get Canadians to have one or more children.....we could ban condoms for 12 years.... -
Geez Rue tell us how you really think about MAX, then again lets compare him to the rest of those up for election....Justin, well, we don't have to say much here, May she is a full blown tree hugger, thats wants us off fossil fuels now, NDP leader not sure if he even knows he's in a federal election or not, can barely handle the NDP party let alone the entire country....Scheer is a poll and media guy he is not going to make those difficult choices unless it is popular, it boils down to more of the same liberal shit....same tactics same corruption, same everything except what is considered conservative..... After all that who is left Rue, suddenly the cucumber is looking pretty good....his platform is a lot more palatable than most, it has a lot issues that the other parties are afraid to tackle...like the dairy cartel, pandering to big corps and interest groups, Cutting back massive amounts of foreign aid, looking after Canadians first, cutting back on immigration, . plus most if not all of the cons promises, like getting out of the immigration pact, cutting the carbon taxes, plus a lot more.... I think that Canadians are tired of the same old two wingnuts to choose from, I know I am, I tired of all the corruption, pandering, that goes with the 2 main parties....I'm also tired of being lied to, campaign promises that are never kept...and when you start to sift through the garbage that is out there right now, your choices are limited....and as much as I dislike Trudeau I'm not going to waste my vote, By voting Cons just so that Justin does not get back in power...I've been disappointed way to many times for that.
-
Maybe your right, maybe max is doomed to be that guy that is a distraction.... how ever history is full of examples of brand new parties becoming the new goto party, look at Frances recent election, a brand new party that over came the odds...I think Canadians are tired of the 2 leading parties in Canada....they want change....As for PPC not having anything there for a platform, come on, ....then again if your leaning towards Justin's liberals then ya...I can see why you might think there is nothing there....Justin promised us the moon, all he really did was deliver a half ass scheme for dope...and a lot of broken promises, he has had his chance, lets bring in the clowns, to escort him out of parliament and back to the drama dept..
-
Why don't you widen your search to something very new, lots of new national parties out there, some liberal minded or conservative minded....all you got to do is say fuc* the above choices...some of these parties are going to surprise us all. Have you seen Mad Maxs platform , for a brand new party his numbers are climbing rapidly....come oct they could strip not only disheartened liberals but cons as well.

What we need is for Canadians to wake up, how liberal Canadians can agree with this non sense is just retarded....Shit even some liberal ministers and caucus members can't swallow it no more...What is it that they see in this party....do they fear the Cons that bad, can they not taste that shit in their mouths, that Justin and his crew of liars and cheats put there every day … I can see why the cons are not that appealing right now....I mean are they really Conservative, I don't think so....they take forever to make a decision, they need to study it, poll it study it again, then create a discussion group to discuss the shit out of it...and then it comes down to what is popular....not what is right, not what has to be done, I thought that was what government should do, what is right for the nation, not what is popular, if that was the case why not set up little voting booths in each house hold , all those in favor say EYYYE, and we could send our entire government home on pension..........Cons are going to give us more of the same liberal shit, and the next 4 years what do we really have to look forward to, reducing Justins budget deficit .....What Canadians should be doing is sending both of these parties a clear message....your done, pack your shit and leave.... Maybe it is time we try another option...anyone but those two.....

I'd stay as far away from any of those sites as you can, and your 100 % right they are all being monitored, by many Federal government depts....despite what Jacee says...not only that some of those groups have their own hackers/ geeks if you will, and you'll start getting their propaganda mail as well, and be tracked on their side...Not worth the hassle... -

I'm curious where do you deport Saudi converts to Christianity ? ahh thats right the Saudis have a law against that do they not. Whats the punishment for that I wonder ? Up to and including the death penalty....What is it in Canada I wonder, nothing, you can practice what ever religion you want, it may cost you a few dollars to have some of you papars changed to reflect your new religion....but we have not killed anyone just yet..... From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia law. No law requires all citizens to be Muslim, but non-Muslims and many foreign and Saudi Muslims whose beliefs are deemed not to conform with the government’s interpretation of Islam must practice their religion in private and are vulnerable to discrimination, harassment, detention, and, for noncitizens, deportation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_religion_in_Saudi_Arabia https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/saudi-arabia-to-punish-men-for-converting-woman-to-christianity-8613463.html https://www.christiantoday.com/article/muslims-converting-to-christianity-in-saudi-arabia-despite-intense-persecution/87220.htm -

Just a question, what religion did Saudi practice in the 1800, the reason I ask is that there was that little incident in 1801,In 1801 (1216 Hijri), the Emirate of Diriyah (1st Saudi state) under his rule attacked Karbala and Najaf in Iraq. They massacred thousands of the Shia population, stole enough precious loot to load 4,000 camels, and destroyed the dome over the tomb of Husayn ibn Ali.[1] Let me ask are Shia muslims ? Perhaps History has recorded it wrong, but in other sources they do declare the massacre did in fact include women and children, there are other examples as well if you like I can bring them up.... And in other Islamic countries there are thousands of examples where killing women and children are the norm, examples that we don't have to reach so far back in time , a lot of them we can start in 2019 and work our way back in time, I could try and list them all but I would need to write a book....Westerners would claim the Geneva convention and it's followers would have the moral high ground when it comes to war anyways....and even they walk a thin line...but if your going to sit here and throw bullshit all across the table by saying Muslims have the highest moral values when it comes to war, is laughable...small things come to mind, torture, cutting heads off of POWs, using chemical warfare on women and children... When it comes to war there are no moral right or wrong sides, war is a failure of democracy to reach a diplomatic agreement....once this failure is realized then they release their militaries to attain a military victory through attrition or by seizing of military objectives or territory and in doing so there are very little rules to govern how that is done.... -
Indigenous blockade in BC & related protests
Army Guy replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
whoop there it is..... The Parliament of Canada, a provincial legislature or a territorial legislature may declare that one of its laws or part of a law applies temporarily ("notwithstanding") countermanding sections of the Charter, thereby nullifying any judicial review by overriding the Charter protections for a limited period of time. This is done by including a section in the law clearly specifying which rights have been overridden. A simple majority vote in any of Canada's 14 jurisdictions may suspend the core rights of the Charter. However, the rights to be overridden must be either a "fundamental right" guaranteed by Section 2 (such as freedom of expression, religion, and association), a "legal right" guaranteed by Sections 7–14 (such as rights to liberty and freedom from search and seizures and cruel and unusual punishment) or a Section 15 "equality right".[1] Other rights such as section 6 mobility rights, democratic rights, and language rights are inviolable. Such a declaration lapses after five years or a lesser time specified in the clause, although the legislature may re-enact the clause indefinitely. The rationale behind having a five-year expiry date is that it is also the maximum amount of time the Parliament or legislature may sit before an election must be called. Therefore, if the people wish for the law to be repealed, they have the "right" to elect representatives that will carry out the wish of the electorate.[2] (The provisions of the Charter that deal with elections and democratic representation (§§3-5) are not among those that can be overridden with the notwithstanding clause (§§2,7-15).) The notwithstanding clause reflects the hybrid character of Canadian political institutions. In effect, it protects the British tradition of parliamentary supremacy under the American-style system of written constitutional rights and strong courts introduced in 1982.[3] Former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien also described it as a tool that could guard against a Supreme Court ruling legalizing hate speech and child pornography as freedom of expression.[2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_33_of_the_Canadian_Charter_of_Rights_and_Freedoms Not in OKA...let me ask you this did the Natives involved in OKA crises have freedom of movement, could they leave on their own accord...yes or no...What about the rights of ABORIGINAL peoples of Canada these are basic rights, i'm sure there are a lot more examples. once again if they were not suspended, then why has no one been charged, in a court of law... let me give you a better example in the discourse that happened around the country during the OKA crises, DND was used as the enforcement of legal court orders, to ensure native protesters did not cross or disrupt certain areas , and in doing so were authorized to use force, and could detain unruly band members....sound like they had all their rights afforded to them.... You keep trying to correct all my mistakes, maybe you this time you could provide sources with your accusations.
