No it has not, Denmark has let the US take over the defense of Greenland, and Greenland has not put a penny into it's own defense....Trump's action within NATO has just recently sparked interest in NATO's Artic defenses....NATO as a whole has taken off from it's military reasonability's for decades now... The threat never left... Canada has been one of the worst NATO players there was...our Nation signed a agreement to meet 2 %, Justin got off the plane here in Canada and told the world he had no intention of keeping his word....And today we are where we are because of those decisions not to invest in our military, not to engage meaningfully on the inter national stage, and then we cry when we have to sit at the kiddies table....Our allieds think we can not be trusted, or reliable, or have anything worth to contribute... Listen to what Europe and NATO leadership are talking about Trumps plan to annex Greenland... The question is who is going to challenge trump.. No one....and i ask one more question, what would stop him from doing the same with Canada....if no one stops Greenland acquisition and trump feels emboldened who would stand up for Canada...I mean it is not like we been an outstanding NATO member....or went out of our way on the inter national front.

I don't even think we would be in trumps radar if we had been paying our 2 %...or living up to our other international commitments...we have been taking advantage of all of defensive packs in favor of other things like social programs....US citizens would love to have more social programs but can't...

US military was not to blame for those losses that was the government at the time and the people who constrained their military forces by tying both hands behind their backs.......it was them who did not have the will, or ba!!s to let their militaries off the leash and allow them to finish those wars....Look at WWI, WWII, and Korea....the military was not constrained like they were in Iraq or Afghanistan.... Abysmal you say....it is estimated that over 300 to 600 thousand Iraqis lost their lives during that insurgence....double that figure on those that were injured.... In Afghanistan well over 200,000 killed and triple that were injured... Do you think Canadian could deal with that much death and destruction.....you over estimate todays Canadians... They don't have to be good at anything they will hold all the cards, and once the people start feeling the pain from your insurgency, regular Canadian will be turning those insurgents in record numbers.... Whats wrong with private health care, it would take some pressure of our current health care which is in crises...DEI speaks for it self, it is a useless program that only waters down standards and is riddled with out right racism... As many as it takes, would be my guess, before the Citizens realize they are not playing games they have a job to do, now if you want to F around, then your going to find out....what powers they have and what little powers you have....Citizens should be avoiding areas in which these agencies are working in at all costs....now if it is your choice to inter act with these agencies....you might end up in custody....or worse...

He has not removed ALL the red tape, no pipeline policies, tanker ban...So no he has not kept his word, why would private industry invest into any of that when it just to much red tape... The provinces don't have any say, if it is a federal back project. and as far as indigenous peoples go, all they have a right to is consultation...no where in that agreement does it say they must agree with any project.....Carney is using that as his excuse to make sure no pipelines get built... Thinking the liberals have done all they could to get these projects off the ground, what have they done really....made a list started up an approval process, not one project is off the ground yet....and some of them were already approved....go figure....Carney is running out of excuses....he needs to show some progress on any number of the issues that plague Canada right now....everything he has taken action on is still in the planning stages....how many homes has he built this year, or planed to build next year...goggle that shit....just to name one project.... I find it funny when i hear all this bravado from Canadians we would fight them, who most if not all of them have not even experienced the environment under extreme conditions...you literally live like an animal, no running water, no bathing for weeks at a time, no regular food supply, and to do all of this with no technology, i mean want to die use your cell phone, start a generator, anything electrical, .....or seen, heard, smelled, touched, what it is like to be in combat....and with out any training or no experience they will be hunted down like dogs....and disposed of....Yes some are going to survive and become hardened.... a very small percentage.... And they don't have to control all of Canada, just the major city centers , towns anything that there is industry, or a means of suvival....they don't care about the whole country... Thats not what Canadians want, or we would be living the cream right now...Your right we do have to do something about our defense, as we are at rock bottom already, it took decades to get here it will take years to get back to what we once where....and no one international take us seriously on any topics of concern....why would they , they have been lied to as many times as the Canadian tax payer....and what do we have for them to take us seriously....most of our equipment is 40 years plus. old...a lot of third world countries have newer equipment...If Canadian's really knew the condition of our Armed forces , it would make them sick...
