Flags mean many different things to many Canadians,for soldiers it is draped over our coffins as a sign of respect, we wear it on our shoulder of every uniform we have, to tell everyone who we are and what we stand for..it is a source of great pride, it has it's own traditions...and when they burn it or disrespect it, they disrespect all Canadians, I get it Canada is not a very patriotic country, but for me that flag stands for everything i and all the other soldiers on the right or left of me have sacrificed... Then i think many Canadians do not understand the position the liberal/Ndp government has put us in, we can not continue to spend massive amounts of money we don't have without consequences. In case thats number flew over your head, it cost Canada 64 bil each year to service that debt...that amount of funding could take care of most of our current social programs such as health care, our entire security apparatus, and still have money left over for additional social programs...Not to mention the over 15.5 bil we give to foreign nations each year..or the useless millions spent on other international organizations or domestic groups. Eventually someone is going to have to look at our national debt, and if we continue to stick our heads in the sand we will end up like other nations that over spent, like Greece, etc and face the same thing with having someone else mange our finances Lets be honest here restoring GST to 7 % is not going to put a dent into our 1.2 trillion dollar debt...and to be frank neither is shutting down the dental, child and pharma care but it is a start....

I did not say no one is not using it. i said the rest of the dental care plan is not gone through yet.... Yes i endorse him, what else is left to pick from ! The country is spending 64 bil each year on debt interest payments...Liberal government just spent well over 800 bil in debt since getting elected...not counting other useless spending it has put into other packages....So debt management would be a huge factor,the majority of Canadians do not need these social programs, and almost every government run program is a failure, it does not service all canadians, it has poor management records, and they are costly for the minority that do take advantage off them. We already have dozens of social programs that are under funded or mismanaged, why not shore them up first instead of creating new ones that will also become mismanaged or under funded...we are spending money like a drunken sailor with no really gain here, except debt load, except making our grand kids and their kids pay for it...

Yes, plenty of examples in the history books, examples of both countries taken the fight to each other, still does not justify 60 plus years of terrorist acts by the palestinians. No one race or religion has been prosecuted more than the jewish people...Palestinians just have more practice than anyone... again i'm sorry but i share no tears or sympathy for terrorists or the people that follow them...
