Canada's Cities & Socialism: Other People's Money
B. Max replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I agree they should not get a dime, but Harper is hardly an example of fiscal responsibility. The cities are the creation and exist at the whim of the provincial governments, and are themselves examples of how to spend yourself into oblivion. All three levels are tax and spend socialists who spend like drunken sailors to see who can break the taxpayer first, and then blame it on another level of government. -
Tell us something black dog. When you look up is there a bridge over your head.

I will bow to what surely must be your first hand experience in such matters. -
He's been speaking like this for a long time all over the country. Jerry Doyle often plays clips of his speeches on his radio show. I usaualy listen to him on 1510 KGA

No it shouldn't be. You just handle it.

Yeah taking a shot at the guy with his hand on the button is not a good idea. I never saw what figleaf did so I can't really saying much about that particular case.

The left love to say as an argument to limit free speech, that you can't yell fire in a crowded theatre. But what if the theatre is on fire. This case is the perfect example of that analogy. -
President of the Christian Action League, paying hookers!
B. Max replied to kuzadd's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Let he without sin cast the first stone. That's presupposing we're all Chrisitians. I'll cite moral hypocricy whenever I see it, especially where religious leaders are concerned. They ARE held to a higher standard. It's not presupposing anything. Christianity didn't even exist at the time it was said. You have no authority to hold them to anything moral or otherwise . You are the hypocrite. -

Let he without sin cast the first stone. V12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. V14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. -

I have often wondered along those same lines. I think it even brings into question the legitimacy of these kangaroo courts in the first place and would seem to be unconstitutional, but then so are activist judges. -
Michael Moore 2 questions for the candidates
B. Max replied to jazzer's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Completely ridiculous and it is not nitpicking. The free part is the hook, and it is a lie. So stop using the word free. It is anything but free. The majority of people will lose the coverage they have now and at the same time pay more for less because they will not be able to determine their level of coverage. Businesses will not pay anymore than they have to. They will simply deduct the amount of income tax they have to and wash their hands of it, and you will have no choice. All you will get is access to a waiting list behind those you are now forced to pay for, that are having an abortion or sex change operation. As I said before, it's not mathematical possible to cover another 40 or 50 million people, at the same level of coverage as one has now, and at the same price. It will not be free while millions will have to decide on a mortgage payment or having the food stolen off their table to pay for it. As it is now, one can decide not to have coverage or determine the level. That will all be lost to bigger goverenment and is most likely unconstitutional at the same time. -
Michael Moore 2 questions for the candidates
B. Max replied to jazzer's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
So are you saying it's not free and that Moore is a liar. It will not even out. It is a mathematical impossibility. It will break millions of families and limit the creation of wealth to a few. So now we have free education. Can you tell me what teachers work for nothing. -

I'm not sure if he's a Liberal or a Marxist but they've been dropping in the polls and this is one vote he won't be getting. -

The choosing of the word charter was no accident. Bill of rights and charter of rights by their definition are two different things. A charter of rights means to grant, where as a bill of rights means to recognize. The American bill of rights does not grant or confer rights to anyone. The implication is that in a bill of rights, the ownership of those rights are retained by the people, while with a charter of rights the ownership of the rights are retained by the government. You are right it is extremely dangerous as we are now witnessing. These HRC's are in no small way the government demonstrating their exclusive ownership of those rights to the point they can twist, bend , apply them some and deny them to others. Unlike the American bill of rights which limits government power, the charter of wrongs and special rights actually increased government power and was the prelude to a tyranny. -

It's a legitimate question since he is the one who said it will free. -

Question for Moore. Who does he think is going to work for free so you can have free health care. -

Not sure who I trust less, Reid or Musharraf. I'm kinda leaning towards Reid because I think Musharraf has learned his lesson. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said he agreed with Townsend that the U.S. should consider going after al-Qaida militarily "wherever they are." http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2...4306.shtml?s=lh

Yeah apparently it has. But get this, the complaint was made over a year ago. http://www.freedominion.ca/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=84514 This is at least part of the complaint that would suggest muslims are the one's promoting hatred against themselves. -
That does not indicate warming. It doesn't even make any sense. Even if it did, it still has nothing to do with CO2.

Conspiracy it is not, ideology it is. Nor is it a theory. It is well documented and it re-frames nothing. Maybe Bill Berkowitz should do some research. -
It's all part and parcel. Our enemies in this war would use oil as a weapon. What part of that don't you understand.
